Why does Zig Forums act like this emulator is good?

It's literally unusable. I have a rig better than 95% of Zig Forums with an i7 9700k, 32GB ram, and RTX 2080. I've followed the instructions to the T, downloaded the shader cache, used all the ideal settings, and STILL I can't get anything near playable on Mario Odyssey, which is supposedly one of the best games to run on it. It's a stuttery mess with distorted audio and unplayable lag spikes.

Did I get memed on? Is this some sort of joke where you all pretend it's usable to dab on Switchlets?

I played SWSH and Mario on it and they were fine and I even finished SWSH so you are just being a dumbass

It's good. You're a retard who can change settings. Go back to consoles kid.

How. I've tried Odyssey and Link's Awakening. Odyssey has unplayable performance and Link's Awakening just opens to a black screen. How is this considered "okay" according to their grading scale?

in no way is 32ram enough. that is laughable. make a page file with 100gb ram

just because you have the hardware doesn't mean you have the brains to not poison your machine with all kinds of shitware

i dont understand i can run odyssey on my shitty little i5 and fucking rtx 580
you must be doing something wrong or trolling

t. Never emulated anything and just shill it for retarded consolewar.

>rtx 580
i meant rx 580 obviously my mistake

>Did I get memed on

Yes. Only a handful of games work 'fine' (and even then you'll have stutter from the shader compilation, input lag, glitches, etc.), everything else is literally unplayable. Emulating is garbage for post gen 6 consoles.

thats a shit rig ngl

>i7 9700k,
That's why

> shitware
What, you mean like Yuzu?
Literally how? I've tried it multiple times and followed so many tutorials and it just won't work.
> Emulating is garbage for post gen 6 consoles.
The funny thing is, my rig can run most games on rpcs3 perfectly. Zig Forums constantly jerks off Yuzu and shits on rpcs3. I just don't understand it. I've never had a single problem with rpcs3 and get Dolphin levels of performance. Meanwhile I can't even come close to playing a single game on Yuzu.

also the latest Nvidia drivers iirc cause huge dips in performance go on their discord or look it up

Works flawlessly n my machine

Stable vulkan 60fps in Odyssey.

What, you need a fucking i9? They can't seriously be calling that playable performance. I doubt more than 1% of people have an i9.
> Better drivers = worse performance
Just wow at this dumpster fire

if you want a serious answer go ask on the yuzu discord and post a log file, unless of course your a pirate, which they wont help because muh piracy bad

Intel cpus run like shit on yuzu. Amd runs it better because of multicore performance

>new drivers
>better
How new.

>piracy bad when the software they make is piracy

Maybe just use OpenGL instead of Vulkan

that's because you're a retard.1660 ti, i7-7700T and 16gb of ram and i played through odyssey with barely any drops. Most noticeable ones are in bowser kingdom, cascade kingdoom and the moon.

I was playing with OpenGL to start with. Just tried again with Vulkan and it ran just as bad if not worse than OpenGL
> pirate
Can they tell? How?
I have an 8 core CPU. Isn't that enough?

>Can they tell? How?
im not exactly sure how they can tell but its something in the log file that detects whether you actually dumped the game from your switch or just got the nsp/xci file online

How do you dump shit from your switch?

Is there any way to hide or obscure this from the log files?

read this guide, personally i dont bother because its much easier to just pirate them online
yuzu-emu.org/help/quickstart/
ive been trying to figure it out myself but the yuzu discord mods will IMMEDIATELY delete any log files they say contains pirated material. so im not sure how you would hide it tb h

you even know what a page file is for, user?

I just hate how everytime I launch a game it compiles shaders for 15~30 minutes

tomshardware.com/news/how-to-manage-virtual-memory-pagefile-windows-10,36929.html

literally every yuzu tutorial recommends having one

>15~30 minutes
Potato computer

Works on machine!

i7 6700 @3.40ghz
12GB Ram
GTX 1070

Opening videos don't work so you need to skip the links awakening cutscene by pressing both triggers, still runs like shit because openGL has bugs with blur making you use vulcan, and vulcan has issues with pop-in graphics

> blur
I already installed the mod to turn this off, so does that mean I can safely use openGL?
