It's by far the worst of the main three.

Osaka's ideas and implementation are so awful it's hard to know where to begin.

Situation Commands are pure, unadulterated cancer that remove deliberateness from the system with nonsensical or random proccing conditions and 0 resource restrictions.

The cinematic AoE attacks are distracting, poorly balanced and mechanically boring (press button to see big cutscene nuke).

Keyblade transformations are too basic, copypasted, most of them are redundant/useless and the palette swapping of magic is disgusting.

Magic is terribly bland with three fucking homing projectiles and transformation variants make it even worse (literal palette swaps).

They removed the contextuality from finishers and just added any additional special finishers you have equipped to the end of the string, while magic finishers can only be used once, and Negative Combo doesn't even exist.

They hid many abilities and important equipment (looking at you Ultima) behind minigames and stamp collecting, as though they were trying to piss Action fans off with stupid, copious amounts of grinding.

They were dumb enough to take Ultima's name literally and invalidate almost every other keyblade.

They inflated boss health because 'muh higher numbers' while not granting enemies individual damage floors, so Lv 1 gets to suck shit through a straw with chip damage.

There's nothing like HP% based damage or KH2's Limit damage scaling to add utility, flavor, and help players in low level conditions.

Cooking. It's another grindy minigame mechanic with RNG bonuses that is borderline required to not deal chip damage on Lv.1.

Guard is known to randomly fail at no fault of the player. youtu.be/DQ1NNykj_IE

Shitical Mode halved base MP and extensions and nerfed SC rate so magic eats shit while Links don't care. It's the worst designed Crit in the series despite being added post-release.

Need I keep going?

God fuck this game
>axel is now a guardian of light
>disney worlds are completely irrelevant, not even given a reason why you're visiting anything other than olympus
>can stay in the air for the entirety of combat, ruining any chance of dying.
>shit voice acting despite disney connections and a massive amount of money
>shit new sora design
At least remind sort of saved it

Must have been in a coma, that can’t possibly be true. The KH3 I played was a rushed, soulless shitpile that doubled down on sequel bait and spin-off nonsense instead of delivering satisfying conclusions for the characters I grew to care about

>hey mom i posted it again!

>axel is now a guardian of light
>all those scenes of he and Kairi training
>never changes his clothes, gives up on being called by his actual name
>immediately jobs
Like, damn, as happy as I was to see the Ice Cream Trio back together they really shafted them. I have zero idea why the Xs bothered trying to use Xion as a Darkness nor was I okay with Roxas showing up just because

Yup.

The "Summons" are shitty minigame nukes in a game already oversaturated with those that force you to choose between using them or magic.

Shotlocks are a terrible idea that slow down the game (literally) and require no further player input after firing off the Shotlock, all have bad damage distribution against groups for every one but Ultima's (super shilled) and there is a shit ton of copypasta between Shotlocks (Happy Gear and Nano Gear's are basically the same, WoF and Crystal Snow's are very similar, multiple Ragnarok types, etc). Nothing else uses the Focus gauge so resource management is braindead.

Gating some transformations behind others when only one transformation on a keyblade with two of them (pistols, which is a first transformation) is actually comparable to most of the single transformation keyblades is stupid as its further restricting access to movesets for absolutely no reason while screwing the first transformations out of a finisher.
Bombard Magic is ass. It can't move while casting, casts the slowest of any magic to where its Fire greatly struggles to stunlock humanoids, and all its spells but Thunder are weaker than the Close Up and Double versions.

Freeze status is ass, it's only good for one hit, doesn't work on anything it'd be worth using on, doesn't augment your damage in any way, doesn't deal any damage in and of itself, and doesn't setup instant kills. All while dealing less damage, being slower, and costing more MP than Fire. There is no reason to ever bother with KH3 Blizzard, making it the worst spell of the 3 main games. Water completely falls off by endgame. Transformation spells are all shitty palette swaps with Fire being the absolute best spell for almost all of them.

They copypastaed the Revenge values for every spell (Base normal magic hits are 1, finishers and Grand Magic are 0). Close Up and Double spells also have identical damage modifiers between the two, exacerbating the issue of copypasta.

There's literally only one good kingdom hearts game

When i turned it off and put Kingdom Hearts 2

The same day I realized I was mentally impaired.

why are you sharing my gameplay?

I'm not convinced that this is even useful at all, let alone something that notably improves the game. The video certainly doesn't show anything relevant, he's just flailing randomly. Looking cool =/= usefulness.

In the rare occasion you're using a physical combo in KH3 (they're all bad besides Ultima) you want to reach a finisher as that's where most of the damage is contained, exponentially so with how Combo Boosts work, and the combo reset from switching with this tech disallows that. In general switching during combos is pointless in the game because there's no real synergy between transformations so the lag was always a secondary issue to that.

This also has nothing to do with the problems of links, magic, guard, shotlocks, etc (the actually relevant stuff). Playing optimally you're going to be blowing your items on fueling those by which point the fight is over, so this tech being reliant on having an item is even more laughable. Totally negligible discovery, borderline irrelevant from what I can tell. But it's sure to please casuals because it looks flashy.

>press x until special bar fills
>press triangle and watch 30 seconds cutscene destroying all enemies
>repeat in random disney/pixar cringe environments
lol, ok, mr low standards

Definitely the best game of the past few years.

I hate how many enemies that are in a group in this game

based

This is almost fundamentally wrong on every level.

KH1FM is the best in the series.

>In the rare occasion you're using a physical combo in KH3 (they're all bad besides Ultima)
You rarely used physicals combos on crit? Did we play the same game?

>What is 2FM

A miserable pile of e-celebs

Combat is it's only saving grace. Everything else is shit.

Which part? Finishers having the damage modifiers which are then further increased by Combo Boosts? "Item cancelling" having shown no relevant uses yet? Shotlocks/links ending fights before you'd even consider bothering with the shitty melee? Because those are all facts.
Feel free to post an example of it accomplishing something relevant and not just being fuel for retards who want to aimlessly flail in the air.

Did we? Outside Ultima they're only ever worth it for building up a transformation. Why would I touch weak trash that has no utility when I'm one shotting things with Simba, Ralph, Ariel and Ultima shotlock?

They did that to encourage you to use the attraction ride summons.

Playing for the first time and I'm on the tokyo level. The only good world so far was toy box and that was because of the Yozora trailer. This game is proof that kh needs to be shoved into the nomuraverse. The gameplay feels fucking nice and I wish I could enjoy it more but the boring worlds make it impossible to enjoy. I really hope future kh games keep this fluid movement and combat and instead of shitty disney movie worlds we can get original worlds with new characters and places where Sora and Riku's actions have actual impact. I hope we don't have to wait another decade for a good KH game.
