ROFL
ROFL
Better than "Kelpie Hydra Ultimate Gallore Gaming"
Why do electronics do this? It makes it such a pain in the ass searching through them online.
>27-1440-144-IPS
This is the best naming convention, change my mind.
because it's specific?
same dude is in charge of naming AMD products
even if the letters are abbreviations it's still confusing as fuck. why not just name it after the company and just add on numbers by models like playstation?
LOL
A company may do multiple things?
Would be annoying if the Samsung 53089 was a tv and 53090 was a cd player
That's exactly what they're doing.
Except there's more than one Playstation in the current model line. And there's more than one dimension to it and the models are not even simple iterative upgrades, but different branches of upgrades sometime with contradicting specs for different audiences.
It's a tradition. Already back in the 70's companies like Siemens and Panasonic were naming every fucking thing just a string of numbers.
I don't think they even comprehend the idea of giving a product an actual NAME.
Let's see from this stupid monitor
>TUF
The Ultimate Force
>Gaming
Gaming
>V
Video
>G
Gaming
>27
27 inches
>AQ
???
Why do I share a name with this guy?
How long can you keep up making distinct and non copyright-infringing names?
Is it just me or is the board extra horny today?
Abbreviated line name and Model Number, they also normally include screen size and essential tech. Basically if you've needed to buy more than one monitor in your life, you know what you know most of the essentials the monitor has to offer at a glance.
>A
Adaptive Sync
>Q
(W)QHD
At least it once made sense, I remember upgrading to a "SR" diskman which was "skip resistant".
Ever notice nobody says ROFL anymore? What happened, Zig Forums?
It's for cataloguing purposes not marketing.
okay, so how are those names supposed to help illustrate to me that the monitor is for epic gaming?
Country code perhaps
>futa
source pls before delet
We got sorta raided by literal discord trannies. Was inconsequential.

>discord link
Fuck off, nigger
Rofl
A company called Siemens should not be setting naming standards lol
Shit man up until just now I can't remember the last time I heard someone say "serious business." People are too afraid of looking "cringe" these days, which is an ever-changing definition, and words like rofl, lmao, etc. fall under that category.
Literally just right-click > search google for image. It takes two seconds to find it, there's really only one result.
Its only two pages don't bother.
inb4 duh sky golems
Take your bets, ladies and gents! Will user make it through posting the whole thing before the thread gets nuked?
Because I was a teenager back then. Now I'm old and jaded.
Obligatory
I feel this way any time my brother starts talking to me about video cards and cpus.
Let's just call everything 3xxx, 5xxx, 7xxx and 9xxx regardless of what generation it's from, that totally wont confuse or mislead the average consumer that thinks they can just look for the highest number in their price range.
>Will user make it through posting the whole thing
Sure, it's pretty short.
If you mean the sequels, then no, too much padding.
>furfag makes it his personal mission to shit up the thread again
whats the point?
