Yes and there's actually a mode specifically just for that too

Yeah it's honestly a good game and I'm not much of an RPG player.

Yeah, it's pretty good for that. And a pretty impressive game from a technical/graphical perspective.

Yea
I was surprised that it was decent as an AC game. Odyssey was a bit more frustrating since I'm already tired of having to sail everywhere. Unfortunately, the new AC is looking the same, but I don't plan on getting it until it's in a good sale.

>Ancient Egypt

expect dissapointment

As somebody who grew up really interested in Egypt, this game really knocks it out of the park. They really got the details, all the agriculture and anthropology shit just spot on.

Playing Odyssey immediately after was disappointing since they took wayyy more artistic liberties with the source materials, despite being a better game.

What don't like about Valhalla? The sailing isn't too bad in it since you only sail in rivers not one island to the other.

it's Ptolemaic Egypt right at the end of the dynasty so it's closer to Ancient Greece/Rome than actual Ancient Egypt

>Ancient Egypt setting
>Greek people and architecture
>Plot about Romans
so weird

>ac
>good
k

>despite being a better game
debatable

It is a good game if you can manage ubisoft wokeness although there isn't anything very drastic or graphic in this one apart from overrepresntation of sub-saharans. It's a very good game that I enjoyed, mainly because it ripped 80% of its gameplay from the Witcher 3.

I'm just tired of the sailing in general, and it seems like Ubi has gone out of there way to choose settings where they can implement it. It felt forced in Origins.

It's historically inaccurate.

Basically nigg*rs are Egyptians

It actually happened though.

>, is this good if I just want to explore Ancient Egypt?
its the best thing about it. its a 10/10 open world map.

>Playing Odyssey immediately after was disappointing since they took wayyy more artistic liberties with the source materials, despite being a better game.

Which makes me worried.

An Aztec Asscreed game would be my dream game, but with both Oddessy and Valhala seemingly playing more into media sterotypes of Greece and Vikings then accuracy I fear if I get one it won't be accurate

It's good if your computer can run this unoptimized shit.

I know it did it was just interesting

Nothing in that pic is even remotely historical

>An Aztec Asscreed game would be my dream game
, mesoautist.

It's the opposite, everything there is very accurate aside from the errors noted in the bottom annotation.
Tell me the specific things you are skeptical of and I can provide sources, images, and the like showing evidence or proof for the depiction.

For starters, here are two mostly intact patios which would have formed an open-air courtyard in the Atetelco complex at Teotihuacan. Teothuacan is 1000+ years older then Tenochtitlan, but it's located in the same valley and the Aztec took a lot of artistic, archtectural, and urban-layout design trends from the Teotihuacanos.

You can easily note the similarity here between these patios and the ones shown in the courtyard/garden in the upper left image in that collage.

Mesofags are based.

I don't intend to dump more unless that user wants more proof and has specific questions.

(Nor didI intend to dump shit to begin with, solely to make the one-off comment regarding my concerns with AC's direction in future games, blame the other user for making a stupid uneducated comment in response)

Third image depicts vast stone harbors / walls.

Show me remnants of these, showing the extent as depicted.

Stop encouraging him, since:

Oh piss off, I know exactly what's going to happen, you'll "just respond" to "one or two comments" that snowballs and all of sudden there's 30-40 text walls about how the Aztecs DID NOT sacrifice humans, or that they were WAY more advanced than we're led to believe.

Meso-user posts here too?

>Ancient Egypt?

this game takes place like 40 years before Jesus is born lol

although you do ''''''''''''''sorta''''''''''''''' go to ancient egypt in one of the DLCs

Yes.

Looks that way. Fuck I love that guy.

On a thread topic though, Children of the Nile, Pharaoh, AC: Origins... are there any other good Egyptian games?

Mesofag please respond

Yes. It literally has a "Tour" mode in which the game tells the story and background of some places of the game and of course you can explore them on your own. The cities and biomes are very detailed. I liked this one because of the exploration and how I could immerse in the Egypt setting. I will dump some screenshots.
