Why does no one complain about the Bakers from RE7?

Why does no one complain about the Bakers from RE7?

There an American Southern family and they are portrayed as fucked up filthy mass murdering monsters.
And no one has a problem with this?

They werent mass murderers before the virus though.

Lucas sure was.

Because that'd how the south really is.

Morons. Methlabs. Murderers.

they were victims of an evil globalist corporation, just like real life.

Boy I do love stereotypes!

Nope. They remind me a lot of my family.

Just average American southern family.

Lucas had a history though. The rest were kind folks till the mold.

>Umbrella did anything wrong
Inb4 It was the Connections

ETHAN!

From Alabama and can confirm this is an overstatement but everyone is generally spiteful and hate one another

He killed one kid i think and a bunch of animals just like everyone one from the south no big deal

This, only one that was a piece of shit was Lucas

Because it's accurate?
The American South is filled with meth heads and other fiends who would absolutely end up eating one another.
Shit wouldn't even take a fucked up corp messing with viruses either. If Trump extolled the virtues of cannibalism and incest, those fuckers would jump right on it in a heartbeat.

>White American family are a bunch of killer monsters in 7
Gaming media: Silence....
>A bunch of zombies in RE5 are black because the games takes place in Africa.
Gaming media RACIST RACIST RACIST RACIST RACIST RACIST RACIST

Why didn’t you complete the game, you fucking retard? The family (except Lucas) were under control of Eveline. Do you actually beat games or bother to read the full stories before you bitch about them? What were you fucking thinking? They’re a reference to the family in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, too. Why are you so stupid?

I live in Louisiana and I love how there portrayed
The dream sequence with Jack Baker is great, a kind family that rescued Mia and Evilyn from a ship wreckage and cared for them in their own home
Lucas is crazy but otherwise they are just victims, the game states this many times
Also stop calling them hillbilly’s there are no hills in Louisiana

Its not stereotypes if its true.

>STEREOTYPES BAD
>on Zig Forums
>where everyone is called a nigger
>Every country is cuck/muslim/nigger infested if you heard them
>it's okay
>BUT FOR FUCK SAKE DON'T TOUCH MY LOUISIANA

arent they corrupted by a virus or some shit

NICE CAR ETHAN
WHERE'D YOU LEARN TO DRIVE?

just finnish the damn game you fucking autist Zig Forumstard

Why the fuck would I have a problem with that?

>complaining about stereotypes or unfair representation on an image board that shits its pants if a black person even dares to exist in their videogames
Dumb shits.

>The Baker family aren't killers they are a normal family.
>But what about Lucas?
>THAT DON'T COUNT!!!!

Replace "evil globalist corporation" by "entitled little bitch" and you've got it.

That's the whole point of the thread, there would be a shitstorm if the family was black but since they are white no one cares

They were quiet, not fucked up.
Lot of bad rumors about their son, Lucas, though.
Bit of a bad seed, apparently.

My sides user.

Never really understood the dream sequence. I mean it looks like a "place" where the spirits and mind of the people before the infection rest ? Like they were replaced by those crazies. Something a la Get Out but with a network ?
It was cool tho, really liked how Jack feels bad and just apologize.

The Bakers are clearly designed to be a Japanese view on the Southern Family.
You can try to soften it up with a nice backstory. wont change the fact that the family is based off Japanese fears of Americans.

Best moment on the game. Where you get to drive a car and use it as a bumper-car against a person.

As someone who has lived in the south for their whole life, in both rural and urban areas, I can guarantee you that everyone from the south knows a family that is crazy as fuck like the Bakers. Not mass murdering monsters per se, but everyone knows a family with a rundown house and a broken down el camino in the front yard that, if they were to appear on the news for mass murdering, wouldn't be all that surprising to anybody.

The south is filled with some crazy fucks, man. I don't think anyone here really takes offense to it.

Not really, because white people aren't usually offended by somewhat realistic stereotypes.

Meanwhile, if you have a black character say they like fried chicken you get an article on vice and an industry blacklist.

Finally someone who gets it.
Everyone freaked the fuck out about RE5 being racist. even though it was just black zombies.
But When RE7 does the same thing but with a far more fucked and scary Southern white family. no one cares.

Because white americans aren't typically and historically represented as violent, savage or otherwise "less", as a means of denying them equal treatment.
If you actually buy into this as being a double standard, then you're either dumb as fuck, or just playing dumb as fuck to "prove" something.

fragilility

So why is this ok?
I mean I know Detroit is an overpopulated shithole but how the fuck can the south have so many crazy fuckers living in big run down houses? do they all really live n big mansions like the Bakers? legit got my curiosity in this bait thread.

lol do people really believe that?

lot of people in rural areas that just want to be left alone, and that's scary to urban "people".

Believe what?

user, because they ARE filthy mass murderers. At least after the little kid appeared
