The last game I platinumed was Infamous 2

When I platinumed Infamous 1 it was a very rewarding experiencing beating Kesler on Hard Mode. Fuck me that fight was absolute bullshit

Give me a game to 100% next.

going to see if Arc of Alchemist is a hard plat once I beat it.

I doubt it's hard unless there is some BS grind achievement like in other CH game

grinding out the 100% for RDR2 is such a chore. i'm currently doing the Duchesses and other Animals quest and it's so boring

Crypt of the necrodancer if you want probably the hardest plat and 100% on psn

Then stop. Getting a Plat should be fun.

Doom eternal
Spelunky is hard to 100%?

Finding the Rio Grande Wild Turkey took me almost a straight week.

Tried platinum Avengers, but just gave up. Now playing trough Bloodstained and The Surge 2 on Xbox. Surge 2 will be a hard one, especially with achievements not unlocking.

Was avengers any good? I enjoy capeshit a bit so I might grab it when it’s cheap someday

im about 70% through all animals. can't you just reload saves in it's spawn areas like every other animal?

Typically yes. I tried that a shitload of times and it never works. That fucker has an enormous spawn range. It's basically just riding around in the desert for hours and hours.

Didn't think it was that bad honestly. I didn't like the game at first and came back many years later, but the actual time to 100% was only like three weeks (and then grinding the dailies for dedication). The game gets pretty easy once you know the mechanics and it's more about just learning the items, synergies, enemy movesets, champion colors, and game mechanics more than actual skill.

Even lower skill players can 100% it because there are tons of OP strategies that can make even the hardest secrets in the game a complete joke. With strong item combos you can one shot rooms and shred final bosses in seconds, or you can use Jera to break the game and get loads of money and tons of items (pretty rare outside of Greed/Greedier mode though), or you can use Gnawed Leaf and an orbital or auto attacking familiar, or you can use Algiz for hard bosses (especially strong in conjunction with Tarot Cloth, Blank Card, or with two rune slots and two Algiz). The patterns of the bosses are not difficult with practice and the game gives you really strong item combinations frequently, so you won't need to use these cheese methods unless you happen to get the items to set them up or are really struggling.

Also Keeper wasn't that bad imo. His triple shot actually feels really nice, and I think his default damage doesn't feel bad at all; I actually like the peek and shoot playstyle of his triple shot. Also he has the same tears cap as all the other characters despite his triple shot, so he is really strong with tears ups. He gets at least two hits in every room, with the potential for many more with Habit, Swallowed Penny, Car Battery, 9 Volt, etc. Plus he can get easy OP angel items from the sacrifice rooms, which he can easily do even on Floor 1.

moron

I don't really like that style of platformer that much. 100%'ing Super Meat Boy was soul sucking and I would rather not do that type of game again.

did you do the 70 gold medals on a new save? everyone says that mission replay is too difficult since you don't have optimal weapons but i haven't started that one yet either so i have yet to find out

I did everything on a fresh save. Not having tonics for deadeye makes some of the missions really hard on a replay save. Gold Rush was by far the hardest trophy. Keep in mind there are over 100 missions, so if you get to one that seems like an impossible gold (A Short Walk in a Pretty Town, The New South, Who the Hell is Leviticus Cornwall), skip it. The hardest gold for me was A Fine Night for Debauchery. That fucking thing took me over twenty attempts. Should have skipped it but I got stubborn.

Don’t get it now. Was a mistake on my end to purchase a GaaS before a year or two. The game is still full of bugs and not a lot of content. At least Hero are really fun to play as, gameplay is quite good also. Just wait a few months and sales, but you should enjoy at least the campaign.

Currently working on Mad Max before the servers close at the end of the month. After getting scrap metal projects done for two strongholds I'm making about 284 scrap a day. Even if I don't have time to make progress beyond just logging in I should finish the challenge requirements well before the end of the month.
The idea of the challenge counter glitching out has me a little stressed though.

yea ill probably start a new save as well. i miss the old cowboy john just isn't the same

Yeah. I've always liked John but Arthur is my favorite Rockstar protagonist.

Yeah it was actually really quite difficult and frustrating for me. I feel like the game is something I should really like, but I struggled with a lot more than I think I should have. I stopped and came back a few times over the years because it's just really demoralizing to have such a short game but then just keep failing over and over because you make a slight misclick or one stupid error and your entire run is gone. Also the controls never really felt smooth for me; they always felt slippery and clumsy. This was exacerbated by the awkward hitbox and delay of the whip as well as the constant fumbling around picking up and dropping items. Even something like taking out a simple enemy would result in me running straight into it or taking a hit, sometimes more than once lol.

It also just felt like so many level layouts are specifically designed to fuck you over: dark levels where enemies pop out of nowhere, tiki men in awkward spots, horizontal arrow traps (especially those in line with shopkeepers), very segmented levels where you have to waste a ton of bombs/ropes if you take a wrong path or need to get a damsel/item, crush traps flying from off-screen, trash mobs stunning you and sending you flying into spikes or tiki traps, etc.

I found the 500k trophy to be the hardest one since it requires you to go aggro on shopkeepers and focus on collecting gold/gems, and basically requires you to either take the hell route or get extremely good at ghosting. I basically need the jetpack and it's so annoying to go to black market and never get the jetpack, or you get jetpack but almost zero bombs and/or ropes, or you get a jetpack and bombs/ropes and then suffer a really stupid death (especially because angry shopkeepers), or you miss the udjat eye, etc. It just took many runs to even have a viable attempt so it puts a lot of pressure on you.

Just glad to have it done finally. Will probably get Spelunky 2 eventually but Idk if I will go for the 100% or not.

Started working on DOA6 then noticed I need to win 50 fights online, five of which need to be in a row and accepted I'm never going to get 100% in this fucking game.

How bad is Red Dead 2? Would I be better off doing the online trophies first before it dies?

Can you not just find a boosting partner?

No, from what I read online you can't just join a specific person's game. Gotta just time it so there's as few people online as possible and join/quit till you find each other and that's too much effort.

You'd be a real shithead for doing this but can't you just rage quit before losing if the match isn't going well?

just use zone alarm/cain and abel

Tell me your secrets.

Attached: 2343.gif (490x390, 2.35M)

I might? But again it'd be more work than it's worth especially since I'd likely have to quit more often than not since I'm sure the only ones still playing this are the people who *only* play this and are stupid good at it.

got lucky and teamed up with people from /vitagen/ so their OP as fuck characters could be gotten as allies.

Hell on earth.
