It's flawed, but the only complaints I hear about it here are people saying it's only popular because of ass. The combat does get redundant and some hacking parts are annoying, but this is an AA budget game. And it had more interesting and original ideas in it than the paint-by-the-numbers AAA budget games produced in 5 years. The story does become melodramatic nip-shit, but I still liked it.
Besides, Zig Forums is nothing but pol and retards just regurgitating memes and the same opinions that have been posted to death for years. It's been forever since I've seen any thought put into any opinion on this board.

Playing on KBM was an absolute nightmare. I'm so surprised it's not a console port.

I don't really like playing on them nor do I have one. Either way, a game like this should definetly have proper KBM support.

I thought it was mediocre. Not bad but definitively not top 10 games of all time material.

I loved in Automata when they just let me buy all the achievements because they realized doing all the side shit was awful.

Most of the sidequests in Automata are meaningful and great though. They all have some kind of philosophical commentary and there's not even that many of them.

I have tried on three separate occasions to beat this game, but I always get bored. Supposedly the story gets amazing after you complete the part where you have to replay the game as 9S, but I can't be arsed to do it. It's just so tedious.

I platnium'd the game, loved it but would never ever play it again since it means i have to play as 9S again. Seriously, they should've cut him from being playable and let Adam or Eve take his place; let us fight androids instead of robos for a campaign.

I actually loved the game, and think it does get better after you have to play the game as 9S, but I agree with you completely. That part just completely killed the pacing; 2B and 9S only got separated for like ten minutes, so making you replay through the entire story a second time was absolutely pointless.

I mean, there are very clear design flaws.
In the tutorial, in one of the top down sections, to shoot at enemies you had to move your 2B to face them. Why not just let the mouse control a cursor that shoots? In another 2d sidescroller place, the sensitivity of the mouse was so absurdly high that it was basically impossible to aim.
I understand how a controller can be better, but this is fucking absurd. I can clearly see how it can be improved upon easily and I have no clue why it isn't done this way. It immiadetly makes me think that the devs are lazy for KBM.

I loved the PS3 NieR. I liked Automata but I didn't get through Route B.
