Second best game in the series. It's actually quite challenging and a ton of people got filtered and hate the game lol.

Very good, kinda feels like Crash 3 done right.

I've been enjoying it a lot more now that I've given up trying to 100% it.

Many games feel like work, Crash Bandicoot 4 It's about time among them. However, Crash Bandicoot 4 feels like the best job ever.

Crash 4 is usually like being a chainsaw wielding glacier demolisher at a party where the penguins are going to need a lot of ice cubes. Sometimes, however, Crash 4 is like a phone call from a hallucinating Mike Tyson, moments before you're supposed to kiss the bride. Crash 4 is a videogame based on the idea of throwing buckets full of baseballs, one at a time, hard as you can at a barn sized cube of maple syrup sticky Styrofoam. Crash 4 is alternating the friction of repeatedly dropping a bowling ball into a massive cardboard box full of delicious bubblewrap, it's sweet vinyl scent like Jesus' kid sister, and the frustration of bending at the knees to pick that bowling ball back up again, thirsting only for the next sick drop.

Crash 4 is the friction of an electric knife through a frozen ham.

Crash 4 is the friction of a baseball bat against an oncoming Toyota Prius.

Crash 4 is, occasionally, a Nasar broadsiding a freight train. Crash 4 is a stick of butter so hard it will break your teeth if you think it's a candy bar. Crash 4 is the pringles of videogames. Crash 4 is the dankest videogame. Crash 4 is a masterpiece.

Plays fucking great once you get used to the new physics, the levels themselves are by far the best in the series for casual play. The writing sucks ass, but Twinsanity is the only post-ND game that's funny anyway so whatever. I just turn the voices off and the subtitles off and enjoy the gameplay. Music is... well it's not BAD but it doesn't fit Crash at all. Save whoever did the soundtrack for the next Spyro and keep them far away from Crash.
The only hard negative for me are the stupid hidden boxes. That shit's genuinely annoying. Also Run it Bayou because holy fuck that is an awful, awful stage. Literally every part of it is horrendous for one reason or another and it goes on for way too long.

Its all really good except:
-too many 'Lol hidden boxes'
-levels are too fucking long, making it dull as fuck to time trial
-music is bland
-whats the fucking point of wumpa gems
-nverted mode is a gimmick and feels like a chore sometimes.
Also, whats the deal with female ntropy, theres no explaining why or how is she there, she is just there. Feels like a cutscene is missing.

I feel like the whole Tropy thing was rushed cause they had the great idea of making Cortex the final boss AGAIN

It's fun and challenging. Some people seem to be bothered by the story and characters but I wasn't bothered by that since I don't care about the story.

Feels like that yeah. I was expecting a racing level with oxide but nope.

Aside from the abundance of hidden crates and shitty vehicle hit boxes the game is definitely a worthy Crash title.

It's definitely the hardest by far, and 100%ing it is probably going to take me at least a solid month

Wumpa gems were because they removed lives so technically they removed any incentive to collect wumpa/wumpa crates

It's basically the Super Mario Sunshine of the Crash series. It's a fun game with a lot of small irksome things and absolutely sucks dick to 100%

You can actually get all boxes and not get all the wumpa gems if you break bouncy fruit crates instead of jumping on them.

This has the side effect of making lives pointless in retro mode because you'll easily be maxed out by the time you finish the second world
