I didn't like it too much. Felt like they had a good idea with custom moves, but then still kept the MKX styles for competitive instead of smoothing out move selection like grooves and styles from SFA or MVC/MVSNK. As for minor complaints, female face models looked worse on average than Injustice 2 and I did not like how the gear system made it so you couldn't choose your own costume in tournaments, you'd lose a sense of identity to the character seeing them in random armor each match instead of a color/costume you'd gravitate to.
