I used to.
Skyrim was my first TES game, I would constantly make new characters with new playstyles and new backstories, that game held so much entertainment for me.
But that all changed when I played Morrowind for the first time, suddenly I stopped enjoying Skyrim, and when I played through Oblivion I lost all will to play Skyrim ever again.

That said, Fallout: New Vegas was my first gamebryo game, Fallout 3 was really bad, but for absolutely none of the reasons anyone brings up.
The story is great and makes perfect sense if you do anything besides refuse to think, this is what people cry about the most, but the real problems come from the fucking levelscaling, late game your best gun needs to fire 3475637645324 rounds just to get through one room.

I do if I have a shit load of mods installed for it.
It's fun fighting new enemies with new weapons on some bullshit ultra hard survival mode.
Plus I can always switch on my loudout of coomer mods for when I get bored.

Sigh, please post this on your threads pushing my genshin thread off the front page man :/

Sure, as long as you take yours to

After the shit they pulled with fallout 4 and 76? And basicly making the same game since oblivion?

>Skyrim was my first TES game
how old are you, christ
that shit isn't right

Yes, retards and cattle.

Not after Skyrim and Fallout 76.

prey was good

Yes, that one. I can't keep up with all of the new vidya game boards now.

i dont know why but I always get excited at first and then the shitty models, animations, combat systems and bugs prove me wrong

>hire sci fi author to write your game's story
>get 9/10 stories every game
Why do massive billion dollar studios not do this simple thing? Even if the author asks for a million its still nothing to the massive boost your game will get if it gets reviewed high.

people that have never played a good RPG do.

I think in Bethesda's case it's because the head writer was one of Todd's high school friends.

I was 18 when skyrim came out

People born in 2002 are 18 now.

>We are proud to announce that we have partnered with the author Lashawnda Washington for the next Elder Scrolls installment.

Fuck stop

I do. A bad Bethesda game is eventually a decent porn game.

If situations like this happen, then if course

>Why do massive billion dollar studios not do this simple thing?

Because is risky? How many movies are made because people think the writer is hot shit and everything he does must be a success, only for the movie to crash and burn.

Slapping the name of someone famous on a game is no guarantee of success, too many people got assfucked into oblivion over and over until they learned their lesson in the movie industry.

Ok well they can also adapt novels tho.
>great 10/10 novel
>pay off author a million and make it into a game
>gamers dont have the attention span or iq to read novels to it will be new to them

>Telling a good story in writing is the same as telling a good story in a video game
When most can't hack the leap into film, why the fuck do you think they'd be able to handle it in a medium with the same challenges and non-linear storylines?

I get excited thinking about modding New Vegas and playing it again but never do

lol @ snoy cope

You sound like a retard
