Isn't it kinda pathetic that the only selling point on PC gaming is the graphics? "With our new graphics card that costs 600 dollars, you can see the reflection from this coffee mug". It's like developers have given up on pc and don't make good exclusives for it anymore. You get used to the graphics like in a day and then it loses it wow factory, most fun i had with pc gaming in recent years was playing Fallout 1 for the first time.
Isn't it kinda pathetic that the only selling point on PC gaming is the graphics...
Im pc master race with r9 290, shut the heck up not everyone cares about 2020 walking simulators. Anyways f1>f2
You forgot it's the platform with most games, highest diversity of games and exclusives. Not to mention the versatility of a pc.
Here, I crossed out graphics, now cry harder consolefag
If you count the old games, but i'm talking about games from the generation we are currently in
DUMB BAIT THREAD
>don't make good exclusives for it anymore.
nobody ever did zoomer-kun. the only """"""exclusives""""""" were stuff like rts games that need precision inputs and click and drag or sim games that require more buttons than a console controller can offer.
all the classic like deus ex, half life, diablo 1, mdk, crysis, ets. etc. etc. all are multiplat. your brain is just rotten to the core with exclusive cancer so you post garbage this instead of playing video games.
I have a gaming pc, but what the fuck am i supposed to play with it? I've already played old games that i like
Something like Half-Life is so much better on pc than ps2 that it might as well be considered an exclusive
List all the games you've yet to play and I'll pick one for you.
>playing half life on a console
>playing diablo 1 on a console
>PLAYING CRYSIS ON A CONSOLE LMAO
I'll do you one better: sell me the console version of any of those games over the PC version.
It's a cope thread from a pleb who recently realized he's a pleb.
I don't know, Assassin's Creed Odyssey. There aren't many that i haven't and the best games of this generation were on consoles imo.
>only selling point on PC gaming is the graphics?
nigger, the selling point is that you can play all games ever released for any gaming system through emulation. piracy is also a big plus too. graphics comes at distant third for me.
>the best games of this generation were on consoles imo.
Like SQUAD, Bannerlord, HL Alyx and Escape from Tarkov?
The best games this generation were largely on both, but PC has entire exclusive genres. Also modding is all but a no-go on consoles, and I definitely can't imagine playing MGSV without Infinite Heaven after a bunch of time playing it with.
It's all about the framerate and resolution too you peasant.
All those games aren't THAT great also who cares about modding? I like to play the game as it was intented
That i can agree on
>>playing diablo 1 on a console
you gotta go deeper man.
> playing ps1 version of diablo 1 on a PC through emulation.
PC game bros, I splurged on everything on a new build except for graphics card.
9 core ryzen but I'm rocking a recycled 980ti. Is this good enough for new games?
it's good. I still have an old AMD R9 and most shit runs just fine.
Is this an ai bot?
The selling point of PC is options. On console you don't have options to use whatever input you want, whatever resolution or graphics settings you want, mods or tweaks etc.
It is impossible to sell a game on PC. People with gaming PCs are a tiny fraction of a pc market and gaming market.
Hardware companies are not the ones who make games, unlike with consoles. If you buy console you support company who pays developers.
Basically PC is a cancer that killed itself and now killing gaming with its free to play pay to win garbage.
>better online community
Cross that one off too
>more mature playerbase
That one's also gotta go
The rest is true. Console do also have RTS games btw (but obviously the experience is better on PC)
patch support? What is this 2004? Do you even need paches for ps2 games. The answer is no. Because console games are quality games. PC ruined gaming.
Then it still has the most games. PC has its own exclusives and often gets titles that are exclusive to one console or another.
Add ability to save manually.
Even when consoles allow manual saving it's always gimped like you're limited to a low number of save slots.
>All those games aren't THAT great
what do consoles have? I'll admit switch has some interesting exclusives, but xbox has hardly any and the ones you find on playstation are generic cinema action games. bloodborne, tushima and god of war are the only ones that really catch my eye.
>PC ruined gaming.
no retard, that wasn't the fault of PC as a platform. it had more to do with internet connectivity and games development being lead by suits with little first hand experience of gaming
>Basically PC is a cancer that killed itself and now killing gaming with its free to play pay to win garbage.
how are you this dumb?
pay to win shit came with the popularity of mobile games, which are by far the most accessible type of games because almost everyone has a smart phone
This is actually a good option if the pc version was inferior like with Metal Gear Solid 2
Sorry son but soul > graphics.
The Last Guardian, Yakuza 0, Uncharted 4, Ratchet and Clank, Shadow of the Colossus remake, Dreams to name a few. But i agree that this generation of consoles was the worst (counting from PS1 era).
Its not graphics, its framerate, and thus a gameplay thing. Consoles push graphics since its more easy to market to plebs then raw performance numbers. Most gpu launches show how well it runs whilst looking pretty, not that its just pretty
