was it some commentary on democracy and how masses want evrything mediocre and tamed?
do people who log-off die?
is there a world beyond the city?

>Cloudbank is post-scarcity and super advanced
>People just live pursuing their passions and using a citywide vote to determine every choice normally relegated to a governing body or to reshape the city
>Camarilla is made up of people who are sick of this shit and view their society as shallow and without meaning due to lack of structure
>They find the Transistor, an object that can interface with and control the city, and plan to use it to reshape it
>Identify and kill key figures who have useful or important skillsets so they can be integrated into the Transistor to use them
>Also find and awaken The Process, automated drones that maintain and alter the city according the Transistor that are largely a secret because nobody alive really knows how the city works anymore
>Sybil, the girl, is a lesbian and orders Red be Transistor'd after falling for her and realising she has a bf
>Red's bf saves her and she gets the Transistor with him loaded in it and conscious
>Process start going wild and breaking down the city to a blank slate without the Transistor controlling them; Camirilla panic
>Sybil gets turned into a cybermonster Red kills
>The two gay ones give up and commit suicide while the Process kills people and reduces the city to a blank slate
>Red fights her way theough this, finds the engineer, and he reveals he's been working to copy the Transistor so he can fix shit - it ends up with both of them dumped into his copy though, and since only one can get back out they fight over it
>Red wins and escapes his Transistor to find the Process has won and Cloudbank is gone
>She has the power to rebuild it by now given she knows how to use the Transistor to command the Process after wielding it so long
>But she has no interest in that shit, so she uploads herself into the Transistor to find her bf and abandons the desolate outside world
Also its suggested that Cloudbank is itself already just a simulation and going into the Transistor is just diving a layer deeper

a shitty game company pandering and poorly, at that

making my lonely heart cry

combat is great
fuck off

Would you have done the same thing Red did at the end? I would've at least fixed the city or pass the Transistor to a new user before I go to the Country. Lazy coomer bitch.

were there other people left?

some pretentious shit idk
garbo combat btw

Never played it but the soundtrack is one of my favorites.

Nah, I would've tried to build something back up and looked for a way to restore the people, or create new ones. Red had it bad because she's an extrovert who had the two most precious things taken from her, and then fought to save the city only to watch it all be destroyed and every other person aside from her killed.
There was nothing left there for her.

>she uploads herself into the Transistor to find her bf
no woman would do that, or anything that happens in the game for that matter

>all the LGBT people are antagonists
>they all get killed
no wonder why there's a threesome in Hades lmao

Pretty good rundown.

It's almost like it's fiction or something.

>be extrovert
>stay alone for a day
>kill yourself
seems about right

Why is Sybil the only good boss fight in the game? it even has the best battle theme in my opinion.

Royce's fight is pretty good, specially with him being the only other character who has the same powers as Red. Unfortunately it's relatively easy to find an OP combo and even with the modifiers it's rather easy.

Technically some of the people uploaded into your Transistor are LGBT and not villains either.

Still dead before the game even begins though.

Some matrix shit

>All the Hades grossly overhyped reception
>Its just another shitty boring rougelike game

Roguelike fans have literally never had a game released for them with good writing before, give them a break.

Babbys first uploaded society.

Who the fuck plays roguelikes for the story? These faggots are really starved

whats new game+ storywise
you can get copies of attacks you already have so maybe some alternate universe another program loop shit

>>But she has no interest in that shit, so she uploads herself into the Transistor to find her bf and abandons the desolate outside world
I would argue there was no point, considering she's the only living human left as everyone else has either been deleted or trapped into the Transistor. She could rebuilt Cloudbank but she would remain forever alone in there.

I assumed that she could create new life as well desu. Something has to be done with the biomass the Process absorbed.

I think it's mostly up to interpretation. Cloudbank seems to already be some sort of simulation so when Red goes into the Transistor things might eventually end the same way. Maybe when she kills herself she doesn't actually go the Country and instead restarts at the beginning of the game like a piece of broken code.
