It sucks and cut way too much god damn content from the original for it to ever be good. I knew from the very start when you could not walk around the bar and pick up a lighter and some 9mm ammo that the game would be trash. I cant fucking believe how short the city streets section of the game was. I cant fucking believe that they cut the park entirely. I cant fucking believe that I could not sit in the comfy graveyard groundskeepers shed. I cant fucking believe that the clock tower was just a background location which you fought Nemesis in front of. I cant fucking believe that they cut the dead factory entirely and added a super linear NEST 2 (LOL). I cant fucking believe how shitty the Nemesis fights are. I cant fucking believe there are no freeze rounds. I cant fucking believe that the STI Eagle is not in the game. I cant fucking believe that the magnum is a deagle rather than a revolver. I cant fucking believe how shitty this game is.

it's EVEN WORSE than the DEmake2, which is fucking amazing achievement of itself.

Disappointing cash-in. Could have been great but they outsourced it and pumped it out a year after RE2make.

REmake 2 is not that far off from the original, with the only real noticable changes being shorter city streets intro and obvious changes to the lab. The police station is basically the same, which is the most important part.

dodging makes it instantly better than 2, only thing missing is a sprint button and it's 10/10

Every single element is worse, especially art-style that is too dark, muddy and forgettable.
Not only that, but tons of content was cut, gameplay is worse and more ADHD-oriented, and replay value is nonexistent. OST and VA are terrible to boot.

Disagree. I've been shitting on RE4 since like 2007 and I fucking hate the OTS angles, but REmake 2 did not feel like an action game in the same way that RE4 did, despite the camera angle changes. You could mow down entire rooms of zombies in the original, but in the remake, you actually count bullets (at least on hardcore).

A cheap sequel made reusing 90% of the assets from the previous game, and an okay title. So in other words it's actually just like the original RE3.

I beat it 15 times for the 100%. Haven't touched it since.

If you mean the original RE3, then yea, it's a good game. Not this dumbed down remake.

I know this is true, but it's one of those situations where I'd recommend most people play 3 over 2. I think the short roller-coaster of 3 is a better gaming experience than 2 yet it is not better.

The original RE3 is fucking great.
In my opinion RE2make was a massive upgrade on RE2 and RE3make was a massive downgrade from RE3.

While it did improve some gameplay mechanics, it was a totally butchered remake. Not even mods can motivate me to replay it imho. Which is ashame because I felt REmake2 was still fantastic (even though some things were cut).

I did enjoy the game but it did feel like a glorified expansion for RE2R and shouldn't have been sold as a full game.
