So was this final battle all in Cloud's mind? Like him symbolically getting rid of Sephiroth for good? If so then that's pretty kino

Yes.

No.

Maybe.

So.

I don't know

lifestream drew cloud into itself to kill sephiroths soul because it doesn't belong on the planet anymore after fusing with jenova so much

Can you repeat the question?

Can you repeat the question?

Truly fucking epic, you faggots. Never seen this one before.

FFVII has a lot of kino moments that mimic ideas and techniques used in classic cinema.

Evidence?
...
None.

You're not the boss of me now

It’s in his mind but he is literally, not symbolically, destroying Sephiroth in it

Yes it was in his mind.

Sephiroths true body was the one winged angel. He already mutated and combined with jenova.

For FFX i want to play the intentional version, yes?

Remake might recontextualize this part.

the literal scutscenes you mong. cloud literally flies through the earth and the lifestream and lands at sephiroth. seph can't return to the planet anymore like every other living being because he's half jenova. when he dies he explodes into a weird reddish light version of the usual green light lifestream

he's been dead forever since the end of ff7 so advent children and the remake are dumb stupid trash

See, that doesn't do it as much for me. I feel like throughout FF7, Cloud's had a "complex" of sorts towards Sephiroth and want to become more like him, even when he hated him. So when this happens, a complete mental rejection of Sephiroth feels so well earned. (disregarding what I know about the sequel compilation because it kinda fucks with my theory)
remake can fuck off and try something else. Knowing nu-squeenix, they can't measure up to this kino and trying to re-contextualize would just make it more confusing

X International doesn't add anything great. The new endgame superbosses are just a grindfest to even challenge.

Here's the cutscene:

The most common interpretation is that he is battling Sephiroth in his mind, and nothing in the cutscene indicates otherwise. It's a bunch of random tunneling CG roto effects that have little indication of the Lifestream, and the aura that encompasses him looks more like Holy than anything else. Not to mention, the Lifestream is a literal ocean and not a featureless void.
You may be retarded.

Brainlet take. The reason Sephiroth was able to absorb the Lifestream is because he is part Lifestream. He was since literal birth a fusion of mako and Jenova cells and his trip to Northern Crater solidifies this. The Lifestream didn't call Cloud on the phone to get rid of him.

Oh it’s a play on the opening of 90s sitcom Malcom in the Middle. It used to air on Fox. It was pretty big surprised you’ve never seen it or the memes that came from it. Haha, were you living under a rock lol?

WOOOH

yeah the dark aeons are pretty fun
also the expert sphere grid adds a fresh layer of replayability

i think so
when sephiroth manipulates cloud outside the temple of the ancients, all the resistance cloud can muster is a kid version of himself
after his experience with tifa in the lifestream, putting the pieces of his history back together, it's much more resilient and when sephy tries a last-ditch attempt to manipulate him again, he gets an omnislash to the face

It's actually a metaphor of Cloud getting rid of the last remaining bits of toxic masculinity and accepting himself as trans.

LIFE IS UNFAIRRRRR

They needed a straight forward swordsman fight.
