Fuck off XV-kun
Easily the most enjoyable Final Fantasy game of this generation.
Underrated gem
it was meh at best, really nothing memorable in the story. one real city. no random enemy variations zzzz
and complete crap if you played on launch
beat the game once and still haven't circled back to do the half dlc character stories
world of final fantasy was better
I liked it despite its many shortcomings but after actually playing it I don't understand how XVkun can even be real.
Like how can someone like that game THAT much? Wish it had better superbosses, Adamantoise fucking sucks and the Menace bosses aren't even hard. Omega was pretty fun though.
NOPE
Final Fantasy XV >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>FFXII>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WoFF>>>>FFXIII
Omega Boss battle is truly Awesome
I fought him out of respect. I'm a sucker for superbosses as a concept even when I'm too shit to beat them and Omega is so cool how he appears in multiple games and to my knowledge never lost his superboss status.
I'd love a FF game about the dimension Omegas came from and their origin.
Look the PC master version of Final Fantasy XV, sad dude.
Even today a majestic and beautiful game
>Adamantoise
>spam death
>turtle gets sucked into another dimension
Honestly, the fight is not even worth doing legitimately.
It's extremely unthreatening but it takes multiple hours to whittle down its immense health bar. I think I needed four hours to kill it
The Omega Boss fight in FFXV are somethink of really spectacular.
And also the Bahamut Boss battle in Comrades is Awesome
You should play the FFXV DLCs
Especially Episode Prompto and Episode Ignis, probably the best DLCs offered by the game, especially at the narrative level.
Definetly great experience

The OST
The FFXV OST is, just awesome
More like jesterpiece
A masterpiece of shit.
Shit one button combat
True ending is in a novel because it's DLC was cancelled
Empty open world
thank fuck Tabata can never ruin another FF game
It took me 1.5 hours of chipping away at the fin to kill it. I had the food buff of "every hit is a critical hit" and was worried it was going to run out before the boss died.
>Especially Episode Prompto and Episode Ignis, probably the best DLCs offered by the game, especially at the narrative level.
>especially at the narrative level.
So you are saying to Youtube them since XV sucks at the gameplay level?
FF XV is a good game
FF XV is an okay-ish Final Fantasy
FF XV is the worst possible outcome of what could have been Versus XIII
>So you are saying to Youtube them since XV sucks at the gameplay level?
watch the movie, the cinematics, download the OST and you'll have missed nothing of significance
The Final Fantasy XV combat system is actually awesome.
Play the FFXV Royal Edition, and you will play one of the best openworld games of this gen.
I am playing FF-XII right now and it is a little tedious to be honest.
It is my first JRPG.
I am at banheim passage, does it pick up at all after this?
Master Piece.
>the main menu's theme is the best part of the game, everything goes downhill from there
youtube.com
I'll never gonna forgive Square for this
Is the right running at 20 fps and the left at 26?
I tried my best to get into it, but I just couldn't get hooked
Final Fantasy XV is really great action JRPG.
A true Final Fantasy game
>The Final Fantasy XV combat system is actually awesome.
I beat the base version. There was not anything "awesome" about Holding O, using items at 0 HP, and pressing L1+R1 so my Holding O can be stronger
>Play the FFXV Royal Edition,
so I can Hold O as other characters or spam a 9999 damage warp strike sword?
> and you will play one of the best openworld games of this gen.
but I already beat BotW
Try to give it another go.
The Final Fantasy XV ending is easily the best ending in the Final Fantasy franchise.
(and I've played them all)
the ending of XV was good
but then the novel fucked things up
Not even top 10.
Royal Edition made it better (especially party switching, the remixed chapter 13, and the individual character episodes), but it couldn't save what is just fundamentally broken. I didn't like XIII, but at least it's battles were strategic and at least it didn't try to tell one story across multiple media platforms.
7R was the first good FF game Square has developed in a while, mainly because of the battle system. Not only did it have strategic elements, but it also felt like the natural evolution to ATB. It knew what it was trying to do, while XV has a major identity crisis.
The best version of the game are, on the tech side, are the Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition.
4K and 60 fps of pure magic
