This game is fucking comfy as fuck a bit basic but still comfy
I downloaded and tried it for myself. Did not progress too much and I don't think I'll be playing anymore but I can tell you that the game feels very floaty. Every character comes with an elements and you combine different elements and chain them together to get some cool effects (like freezing,burning mobs etc) and deal high damage which is fun enough but the game seems to be build on top of that only so you can't do much more. You don't really feel the impact of regular hits and as far as I can tell you can't block or parry anything, enemies hitting you don't have any impact. Best thing about the game is the open world, it feels like you really can go anywhere you want and since the visuals are amazing It's really neat to do so.
Game is good but nowhere near as good as everyone here says it is. Give it a shot if you don't mind the gacha

If you refuse to change your party then you will have to use Fischl's bird turret. You will have to repeatedly drop that when off cooldown to do damage to their back while they face/aim at you. Though you won't kill them fast enough that way for the timer in abyss.
