It's a smart move if they make all the Zenimax/Bethesda IPs exclusive to Xbox/Microsoft store. They'd be even smarter to try and buy exclusive rights to EA sports games like Fifa if they want to persuade a ton of normies to go Xbox this gen though.

Great move on their part. I got a PS3 and PS4 for jap support but it seems like Nintendo took that niche while PS4 diving DEEP into movie games. Xbox fills my wants, where I'm a primarily PC gamer but want a console so I don't have to upgrade my PC for $2000.

Honestly speaking, and I say this as someone who preordered a SeX. Bethesda hasn't had a great reputation lately. Yes, they made Skyrim, which I thought was great. But IMO, a mediocre Fallout 4. And we know about the 76 disaster. My feelings about Bethesda in general before the acquisition was kind of in the dumps. I have no idea what to feel about Starfield. My hope is that Bethesda goes back to their roots and tries to design an actual role playing game again. I thought nu Doom 2016 was okay, but I was not that interested in Eternal. I have not tried Evil Within yet, so I'll be looking forward to trying that soon on Game Pass when the console arrives. Aside from that, there's not much you can say about Bethesda other than hoping that Starfield turns out good, which is a stretch to say at this juncture

I think there was an interview that said all future Zenimax/Bethesda games are going to be Xbox/PC exclusive. I doubt they'll be Microsoft Store exclusive though, they seem to have learned their lesson when PSO2 launched

It's going to be interesting to see the platforms for that leaked Wolfenstein Anthology. We have those skus from Amazon France earlier in the year that had it for every platform, including Switch, which suggested it was a collection of older games. But the esrb leak only has Xbox Series.
