A masterpiece.
10/10
no no no
maybe 8/10 if that, the linear design isnt as good as pic related, a tried and true masterclass
5/10
easy shit
Mario is too damn slow in Galaxy
This 100 times over
You're the same guy from the other thread, recognise you from the image. Hello again GhostTrick bro, or am I confusing you with someone?
You might be confusing me, although I always tend to post some Ghost Trick fanart like that in threads about the game. Still though, Ghost Trick is fantastic and easily Shu Takumi's masterpiece. I have a friend who's a big AA fan, but he constantly puts off playing GT.
Force him to play it, he'll love it. I'm just finishing up Fata Morgana and playing AA too. Sorry for confusing you, and also thanks, +1 to my fanart folder.
Not even close.
FPBP
I've been trying to get him to emulate it or borrow my DS flashcart, but he keeps insisting on buying a physical cart (he's a collectorfag, although he's not the worst one out of my friends. I have one who refuses to buy anything on his PC through Steam or GoG because they're digital), so maybe I'll just buy it for him so he can finally play it. How's Fata Morgana? I really like the concept. Here's some more fan art.
Like the concept? Have you not played it? I usually don't look at anything regarding a game if I plan on playing it, even basic concept.
Anyway, I'm about 1/4th of the game so far, and it has been mediocre. Its biggest issue so far have been the endings to each door (which is how you play through the game, go through doors which depict a time period of the mansion). The endings have all been terrible and retarded ways to end off a story, while all the beginnings have been great, and middle part good. Music's a masterpiece though, enough to keep me invested.
This isn't meant to hate on the game, from what I've heard everything becomes from good to masterpiece in the later 2/3rds of the game, which I'm nearing. Hopefully I'm not disappointed.
Yeah I only read about the concept of seeing the mansion in different time periods and I thought it sounded really cool. I'll keep in mind the slow start when I get it. I don't tend to drop games unless it's one of those games where you need to play it for 25 hours for it to get going, so the slow start might not be too bad for me, especially since some of my favorite games take a couple hours to get going like MGS3, Deadly Premonition, and Killer7.
Are you sure I haven't talked to you before? I only save fanart I find on here, and I already have that saved.
Anyway, have a good one mate. I recommend Pathologic 2 and the Silver Case to you.
We've probably talked before in a Ghost Trick thread. Thanks for the recs. I started The Silver Case but need to finish it. I remember really liking it though, and I've heard almost nothing but good things about Pathologic 2, so I'll probably pick it up next time it goes on sale along with E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy.
If it wasnt an obstacle course in space it would be better, but none of the levels are memorable because they are small and you go through them too fast.
2 is a better game.
Too slow
I'd give it a 9/10 but the underwater levels were annoying so it's a 8.5/10 for me
2 is better since it has more platforming, and is generally faster paced.
What fucking mario games have you been playing that are difficult?
It alright
It's also reasonably difficult, while Galaxy is the easiest pre-Odyssey game. It helped that they fully embraced the 'course clear' philosophy of stage design instead of wasting time with a handful of obligatory pure exploration levels.
>obligatory pure exploration levels.
they still have them, but there's only two this time around.
you've got starshine beach, which i vastly prefer to beach bowl, and you have whomps fortress which is fun, but is a lot more tame when you compare it to a lot of the other galaxies.
>it’s different so its worse
how can you possibly pull that out of your ass in the slightest
True, but Yoshi with hot peppers makes getting around a snap in Starshine, and Whomp's is clearly just there for the sake of fanservice. The pure exploration stages in Galaxy were downright agonizing.
>finishing Fata Morgana
make sure to replace every instance of "fragile male ego" with tsundere (used derisively)
i don't think they were bad, but i vastly prefer the galaxies in 2, yeah.
i go back to it more than 1, both for full playthroughs and just to replay specific levels.
i'm hoping that we get an odyssey 2 which is more focused and polished than the original.

Knowing how much of a jump in quality Galaxy to Galaxy 2 was, that would actually get me to buy a Switch.
