Horses walk about 4 mph, so you'd be traveling for about 7 hours a day, so you'd be traveling for about 90-100 days.

I've never set foot in America

I have not played the game but riding through the US with a horse seems to be reasonable in 2 months or so. The roads are still somewhat intact right? Would make it even easier.

Guess that explains how you've never heard of Lewis and Clark, either.

and what about Bandits who Patrol the roads? You know scavengers, murderers and rapists who now have free reign to torment? No word on them did they just disappear?

If you think that's impossible you really need to look into your American history more

Nigga I just said I've not played the game I have no idea if there are bandits, how many supplies there are and stuff like that. The distance is not a problem however

Horses don't exactly like walking on pavement or asphalt, even with horseshoes. The can trot through the city for a day like a carriage horse in New York, but not that type of traveling.

Jackson in Wyoming bro kek

With already existing infrastructure this really isn't hard to believe

Wrong starting point and it's also a videogame. They couldn't have ellie get dysentery and die before getting to seattle.

Why not? My expectations would have been thoroughly subverted. And as she's shitting herself to death she can have a sad flashback to Joel and she finally forgives him in a pool of her own diarrhea. 10/10

Tons of rural roads in the midwest are simply dirt paths, gravel at the most.

>theres only one city named Jackson in America.

it's a video game but i'm sure there are even modern day faggot or two who have walked across america just because

Humans walk at about 10 mph you dip. A horse easily outpaces a human

>Humans walk at about 10 mph you dip.
>Humans

Yup, you're right user. Humans indeed walk at a pace of 10mph, meaning I could walk a marathon in under 3 hours.

I too walk at a 6 minute mile pace.

Don't need to walk on the highways, just alongside them while using the roads as guidance.

How long are your legs nigga

>uses slang like "dip"
>american
lmao

Isn't that exactly what their ancestors did

How did humans cross from Africa to America....?...woah...really makes you.... think.

what did ellie eat in the journey? how often did she shower? where did she take a dump? what did she use to wipe her ass?

hey, if people did it 250 years ago then people can still do it now. probably easier if you stick close to small highways.

I haven't played but I think they probably used horses
