You definitely want to choose a high fucking bowser level like 3-4 or something so that the other players get stuck with it too. Plus if youre skilled enough, you can send a bowser to someone as well.

Im not retarded, right? Choosing a stage only puts it in the pool to possibly be chosen throughout the game, right? Cause every time I select a stage the game still begins on 1-1 for eveyone.

Yeah, it puts your level into a pool with everyone else's. You can only sequence break using warp zones, which lets you pick one of three stages in the pool. I don't actually know how it chooses what order the levels go in, though.

Top 5 is such a fucking drag. Last few players are generally skilled enough that you're basically just going on until someone gets sick of the game and gives up or makes a mistake due to fatigue. Royale's race goal was much better.

It really doesn't take that long before the timer goes red. And then if that's not enough it's only a little while before the red timer doubles in speed.
It gets to the point where you can be be literally drowning in enemies, with a an active star, and still lose time instead of gaining.

Yes, everyone is a game has the same exact queue based on what everyone chooses at the start, ordered randomly. Everyone will go through the same exact level unless you go through the warp zone. The levels 1-2 and 4-2 (warp zones) works like this:
>hitting the flagpole will send you forward +1 in the queue (like any other level)
>the rightmost pipe is +2 in the queue
>middle pipe will send you +3
>leftmost will send you +4

If you're purely trying to win not really. Sending harder enemies isn't worth the extra risk of dying because they inevitably end up as fodder for your opponents in 1-1.

seriously what is this shit? I'm trying to get 4-4, I've ran 1-1 339 times and 1-2 247 times. I want these developers to tell me with a straight face that this game was play tested

Had a good day yesterday where I was paired with good enough players to get me through world 5 and 6.
My game strategy has evolved to a point where I try to keep my last opponent alive by only sending them goombas and koopas.

Just 1-4 for the easy bowser ;)

I like how enemies can spawn right here. I had multiple hammer bros and bloopers.
it's legitimately impossible to get by here without taking damage or using coins. and I happened to use all my coins rolling three mushrooms in a row. woo!!!!!

Yeah, anytime I reach my target level I just spam roulette the entire way though.

Seriously my lobby can be full of players level 30+ and I still constantly get 1-1. What the fuck is wrong with these people.

Yeah that's what I try to do, just annoying when yo get fucked by RNG.
Now people are starting to pick later levels but it's always stuff I have. And it's so much easier on later levels to just get fucked by enemies spawning everywhere.

This game was supposedly in development before T99. But I have to wonder what they were doing...

Do you actually find grinding 1-2 fun?

To spice up the gameplay, send tougher enemies and not have repetitive matches. Constantly play 1-1 and 1-2 just bored the hell out of me, and made me stop.

I just choose random levels, the thing is that looping 1-1 and 1-2 is good to rack up easy coins and time. I usually try to max out my time and try to go to harder levels through warp zones

trying to have fun but after getting 3 bad rolls in a row and then dying because my feet were an inch away and you have no air control, waiting a few weeks for a patch/people to unlock stages

Going to a Castle or Underwater level with a Fire Flower to send Bowsers & Bloopers is a decent strategy. Also sending Piranha Plants is underrated as the game can place them in spots where they make jumps either super difficult or flat-out impossible without getting it if you don't have a fireball, Star, or POW Block.

There has to be one. Seriously. One for casuals and one for veterans.

Demonizing the Japanese doesn't even work because Capcom & SEGA don't give a shit about fangames unless they try to make money off the IP. It's just Nintendo pulling some Disney shit.
