OH NO NO NO SONYBROS OUR FUD IS FALLING APART!

>expecting this poorly designed thing to not have heat problems
snoys are gullible

>toasty
So instead of a pizza oven, we're getting a toaster?

Attached: toast.jpg (1000x667, 94.95K)

We can't stop winning xbros wtf

Interesting considering Microsoft were emphasizing the effectiveness of their cooling system. Maybe it's still an impressive temperature given the form factor. Just makes you wonder though, if the form factor is the reason it's toasty, why not make the thing slightly bigger? It's already a really small console

Dont believe their lies xbros, I wont let you down.

Hello consolewarriors,
F.Y.I., This dude is a faggot but he's not in the pocket of anybody, except sellers of pinball machines.

Toasty usually means nice and warm. Do you expect it to blow cold air or what?

Im more interested in why all these onions looking fags got the console ahead of everybody else

Cope snoyboy

I believe you Phil, you'd never lie to me, i know that.

Just buy sony already and force them to make BBC dildos. Same consumer base anyway.

My USB drives also get toasty if I write a lot of stuff on it, because it has zero cooling. That's what it is with things that are external.

The comments just concern me somewhat. Any amount of heat is a bad thing when it comes to electronics. Not saying it won't be within acceptable temperature range, but it's still yet to be seen

Translation : I got a call and a tip from microsoft to shut the fuck up

OH NO NO NO, literally snoys ONE argument, down the toilet, BAHAHAHA

>Any amount of heat is a bad thing when it comes to electronics
What are you fucking talking about? ANYTHING that uses electricity will generate heat.

>Hot to the touch, yes
definitely not buying an xbox then, thanks

Holy shit that thing is fucking FAT.

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 11.19K)

>still doesn't say it doesn't have a heating problem
oh no no no

YOU KNOW WHAT THEY SAY?

>I've read stories that are using the Beastcast segment to support claims the Series X has a "heat problem" and I would disagree w/ making that assumption

>Support claims the series X has a "heat problem" and I would disagree w/ making that assumption
I know reading comprehension is difficult for you low T faggots, but come on.

I actually need another toaster.

post your pc temps lol

>confirms it runs hot

OH NO NO NO

>ANYTHING that uses electricity will generate heat.
...which is why it's fine for my cpu to run at 50 degrees idle >:^|

that's how thermodynamics works snoyboy

Snoys once again proved themselves to be most hypocrite and sheep fanbase in Zig Forums. Go back to r*ddit or r*setera fags. Zig Forums without Snoys would have been 10 times better.

>that's how thermodynamics works snoyboy
see, it's fine for my 960 to hit 95 when playing 10 year old games, thermodynamics baybee

>electronics can take infinite heat

Attached: 1559266701853.png (449x800, 84.01K)

I think the problem is more people are saying it's running hot just in standby or playing back compatible games. It's not really pushing the hardware. If it's running hot idle, that's a problem.

So now what?

Attached: 1602014532836.png (800x600, 10.66K)

Imma be honest. All this talk about the console running hot gives me bad memories of the red ring fiasco.

I mean it's running at like 2.5 times the tdp of last gen isn't it? the heat has to go somewhere.

Running back combat games at 4K 60 fps is pushing the hardware simply because it's some sort of emulation

Normally I would expect Zig Forums to shit on both consoles but all this circlejerking over the Series X is weird

We should wait to find out why Sony doesn't let anyone touch the console in that case.

B-back to square one, Sony bros.
Fuck, I was sure we were gonna take back the lead.

>It's already a really small console
but you told me it was a fridge wtf

"running hot" wasn't really the issue there, and I don't expect any last minute "oh it runs hot?" on what is effectively consumer parts from AMD.
The main reason it's making waves is bec the system just has a much higher tdp. But it's not exactly a last minute bomb being dropped on either player.

It looks like a very tiny fridge

you weren't here for PS4 vs Xbone launch I take it

It's an SSD, those things can reach high temperatures by themselves.

I suppose. It didn't mention in the reports I read that it was 4k 60fps, but it's possible. The real concerning was people saying it was very warm during standby, and hot to touch idling on the os screen.

its emitting hot air, meaning the cooling is doing its job. if you have cold air coming out of your system while playing its bad, as its not dissipating heat

is this just snoys trying to cover up the fact they cant run shit like NBA 2k over 30fps?

Attached: 1599892117288.jpg (929x658, 56.81K)

>is this just snoys trying to cover up the fact they cant run shit like NBA 2k over 30fps?
We have a winner!

No, a toaster oven. I don't even know why I'm contributing this to this joke.

Retarded post thats the equivalent of saying water is wet.

>its emitting hot air, meaning the cooling is doing its job.
yes.
>if you have cold air coming out of your system while playing its bad, as its not dissipating heat
no. Would just mean it's dissipating the heat so fast the system doesn't get a chance to heat up. If there was no air coming out that would be the issue.
>is this just snoys trying to cover up the fact they cant run shit like NBA 2k over 30fps?
that one is also probably fud. I'm enjoying this console wars fud.

If he was pointing out expected heat as comes off any electrical thing then hes a retard and should never review anything again
But most likely is spot on

>that one is also probably fud
I mean there are videos that prove that the game is going at 22 fps.

ssds get hot, which is why you put passive cooling on them and direct airflow over them
what you should actually be measuring is if the device throttles the ssd under usage and not whether it gets hot

Well it was "running hot" because of the design. Not the tech. But the "fiasco" was how they knew it was failing, but were charging people $80 to fix their console (at a time it was $200) and telling you that you were shit out of luck if you didn't pay up. That was probably the worst customer service I've ever experienced a known defect from like month 2, and 3 years later after it was already fixed once they tell you to fuck off.

That doesn't mean that hot air magically disappears. It has to go somewhere, and that big ass vent on its top is where it exhausts hot air. Thats where all the fud originated when someone commented that the was vent doing exactly what it was designed to do

lol Is that Linus?

Attached: Silky Smooth 22 fps.jpg (1080x1200, 309.79K)

Celldweller guy iirc
real boomer hours

>no. Would just mean it's dissipating the heat so fast the system doesn't get a chance to heat up. If there was no air coming out that would be the issue.

are you suggesting this should be liquid cooled because even then the radiator is pushing out heat nonstop. even nitrogen cooled stuff heats up and has to be dealt with. there is no case in which you could dissipate heat that fast in a consumer model electronic.

Also yeah this FUD shit is great, even at their relatively low price points people think these two boxes will be god machines. itll be years before they figure shit out and get decent performance

I mostly just remember anons mercilessly shitting on the Xbox One. Plenty of people ridiculed the PS4 too for whatever reasons suited them, as console warriors always have and will, but NO ONE even defended the Xbox One.
