I feel as though that if CDPR were fucking up Cyberpunk 2077, Mike Pondsmith defiently would've said something ages ago. With CDPR keeping it close with Pondsmith during development, and with him saying nothing but positive things about it, I have faith in CP77 and that it'll blow us away this November.
I feel as though that if CDPR were fucking up Cyberpunk 2077, Mike Pondsmith defiently would've said something ages ago...
Exactly. Most of the people bitching have never heard of the guy, or even knew what the series was before 3 years ago. The game is going to be totally fine, if you ACTUALLY liked the previous (tabletop) games.
>Dude I'm SURE this based Black man would give up his potential millions of dollars royalties to KEEP IT REALLLL!!
Lol do zoomers really?
He might also just have more realistic expectations
I'm sure it'll be good. I just hate the marketing around this game and how they get news out; it really sapped all of my enthusiasm for the game.
>Mike Pondsmith defiently would've said something ages ago.
He's some fat nerd who made some tabletop games like 30 years ago and they just showed up at his house with a dumptruck of money. Why the fuck would he say anything? He and his family are set for life now.
>glorified board game man hasn't been lighting up his paycheck therefore the game is good
Lmao
Option 1: Complain about the game and risk profits
Option 2: Sit and collect royalties while brainlets buy the game on dev name alone despite the quality
Which one do you think he prefers
Pondsmith doesn't know shit about video games.
Play CP2020, youll understand all but the saturated daylight scenes are pretty fucking close. And even those are inevitable but glossed over in tabletop
I'm pretty sure Pondsmith teaches game design as a college course.
They put ecelebs in the game, that has literally never been received well. No way buying day 1, if at all after impressionx
I imagine he earns a percentage of total sales revenue for the game so it wouldn't be advantageous for him to come out and start slagging it if its shit.
This, even if he believes the game doesn't fit his vision and he doesn't have power over Polacks or their larger vidya industry friends.
Still pirating cyberpunk 2077
Still voting for trump
>Black Guy makes something cool
>White Chicks and their Beta Orbiters ruin it
Every Time
What, board game design?
when owning the libs is more important then having a decent quality of life or an IQ over 9
Can't wait to review bomb this nigger before pirating his shit.
>implying she's old enough to vote
He said the teaser trailer from 7 years ago was exactly what he imagined. He said it "was perfect".
Does it look like the teaser from 7 years ago now?
Devil's curliest hair.
Alternative theory, Mike Pondsmith is just an old man that is happy that his old project was picked up and has an opportunity to be a big spectacle with high budget production values and he hopes it will inspire more people to create things like he did, so of course he isn't going to say anything negative. He probably also got a big fat paycheck.
I'll reserve my judgment until after I pirate it though.
He doesnt know shit, guy just wants his money
A reminder that they took the lore, characters and world from a table top game and transformed into a living breathing world.
>pondsmith is held at gunpoint by cdpred to praise the game
>pondsmith is a retard that doesn't know anything about games and cyberpunk in general
If you hold any of these opinions unironically you deserve your skull to be caved in by the man himself.
Both of those statements are factual, sorry bro
Pondsmith used to work on video games.
and you deserve a beating for being a faggot, sorry brah
Sorry I made you mad bro, just had to point out the facts
That suggests it will live up to CP2020 but probably not Bladerunner, the latter being what everyone was actually excited about.
no one is mad bra, but you are bad
It's not like Cyberpunk RPG is some well crafted literary masterpiece. I highly doubt he would say anything given the boost in popularity The Witcher IP got and the attention/money he is getting.
