Devil May Cry 6

How do you do it?

Capcom clearly sets up Nero with his Credo Angelo devil form and Nico as the weaponsmith as the new protagonists with Dante and Virgil off the board but what do you do with them?

>Credo Angelo
>Not Nero Angelo

Sparda Game.
One of the bosses is Yamato, mother of Nero

Not playing a DMC without Dante

They make new characters in DMC6 and update the current ones or just not reuse them. The fuck do you think they're gonna do?

Get with the times Jiji!

They merge the DMC universe with the DmC universe and you get to fight Donte

Nico plays like V but with little mechas like the puppets from DMC1.

Ever since DMC1, Trish has had no real relevance in the plot, and honestly she could have died back then, but didn't because Kamiya has a weird mommy fetish. She could even become the new overlord of hell to give her a reason to exist and an excuse to not be available all the time.
Lady suffers from slightly similar issues, but has way more depth and popularity, she deserves to be playable as part of the main cast.

The BP ending of Nero gives me the feel that he could become corrupted, which gives us a good excuse for a Vergil focused game where he has a redemption arc and smacks Nero back to his senses.

Dante is the face of the series, but I think if he managed to find a partner, have a child and retire, it would be a great conclusion to his story; and retiring doesn't mean he won't be playable again, just that the franchise could move on to new horizons.

DMC without Dante is not DMC
They thought of that back with 4 and realized midway that it was a stupid idea

DMC6 is a prequel game about Sparda. Followed up by a remake of DMC1 and DMC3

I think a DMC game featuring Dante actually doing his job and being hired for a case would be an interesting setting for DMC6

Just do Dante's and Vergil's adventures in hell, disregarding everything that happens in the mortal realm because fuck nero and the goblins

I bet it smells like cottage cheese

>Ever since DMC1, Trish has had no real relevance in the plot, and honestly she could have died back then, but didn't because Kamiya has a weird mommy fetish.
This, even Lucia had a better character arc, only reason Trish is kept around is because Itsuno doesn't know what to do with Dante and doesn't want to go against what Kamiya set

I kinda want this, but Dante actually doing his work was very well portrayed in the anime. It's a bit of detective drama until the demon finally shows up and Dante one-shots it.

>prequel
>unnecessary remakes

The hallmark of an uncreative brainlet. Sparda works better as a mysterious motivating force for Dante and Vergil, we don't need to actually see him

Fuck you mang Nero was great!

We know almost nothing about the demons in DMC. It would be nice to gain some insight into their world and hierarchy.

>Set at multiple locations
>Moments of over the shoulder REmake 2 style walking around to investigate to break up the CUHRAYZEE
>Each are is a case for the company
>But theres some evil cult shit that ties it all together.

I'm not saying Nero wasn't great, all i'm saying is that even the devs realized that a DMC game without Dante was a stupid idea

The problem was all straight man, Nero and Nico is straight man and zany retard.

His DT looks ugly, why couldn't they go with the other design they had? Even the DMC4 DT would've been better.
Anyways, Dante should always be playable in the base game. It has nothing to do with "getting up with time" I just think it'll be a faggy move to remove a character that always was playable.

>Dante and Vergil off the board
Not happening. They'll be out of Hell and ready to go again in time for DMC6.

I want the next DMC to have a RE6-like approach, where everyone has a mini campaign, you can choose who to play as, and run into each other from time to time. Until they all meet up to take on the big bad.
Having a story where you play as multiple characters always takes away from the flow of the experience.

How mad did the RE8 trailer make you about Chris?

Not really, neither Nico or Nero can cover for the hole that Dante fills in gameplay aspects, and trying to change Nero to fill it would result in abandoning what Nero is gameplay wise

It's ridiculous people think they're somehow gone when Yamato can easily open portals at any place, any time.
The only reason they are in hell is because they want to bond and try out their new powers.

Why would I be mad over swole Chris?

Plus whack that overgrown weed, but that's more of a side-job.

Dante and Vergil story is over. Nero is now the main protagonist. The only reason you will see Dante in the game is because fans will cry if he;s not there. But Capcom might lock him behind Special Edition now. We'll have to see.

It needs actual level design, unlike 5.
It also needs new concepts, unlike 5.
It needs to step back from the button mashing characters from 5.
It needs to have actual ai in the enemies, unlike 5.
It needs to have more than 2 environments, unlike 5.
It needs to be a fully crafted experience around 1 well developed character like 3, unlike 5.

So basically, Capcom needs to eject Itsuno before he becomes the next Inafune.

5 was solid till about mission 12ish when it devolves into "oops, all qliphoth assetts!" and recycling bosses and enemies which feels like Capcom told them the budget was being cut more than anything.

Also the whole story felt off. Virgil murders an entire city to make a fruit to become the new mundus then become himself just to fight dante "because the brothers can't agree". What a petty, petty bitch. He wants power. Great. Good for him. Now what does he do with it? Whats the fucking point for any of it?

I don't see what's special about Nero, if the next game is only him, presumably, then it'll most likely be with a new villian we didn't see before. Something that doesn't need Nero at all. He has little development to go through anyways (unless you think getting more powerups is character development) he understands that it is okay to be a demon in 4 and that it doesn't make him less human. In 5 he develops into nothing. It's just him being insecure about his usefulness and getting a powerup from it.

Baiting retard.

Nero finally has the family he always longed for and awakened his devil powers, his story is over.
It's about time he retires from being the forced protag, to let the newly revived Vergil finally reclaim his rightful place as the protagonist of DMC6.

Aftee playing Genshin Impact. I cannot go back to DMCV, it feels so cringy and lackluster

5 is about the power being fucking pointless without a reason to use it.
