Once Cyberpunk 2077 releases, I will become obsolete
God, I really fucking hope so. It will be one person less making shitty threads.
keep dreaming zoom zoom
You're right, there will be a new "most overrated game of all time"
True classics never become obsolete.
If all you require from a GOAT is that it has an aesthetic you like, sure.
The original Zelda.
Wolfenstein 3d
Minesweeper
SkiFree
Quake 2
Donkey Kong
Galaga
Asteroids
Pac Man
All obsolete. I could go on and on.
Thread made by a zoomer that never made it off liberty island.
They aren't obsolete, because they provide an experience that other games simply cannot.
And what were those games replaced with?
Wrong
Thanks for coming into my thread, boomer(s).
Oh excuse me! I didn't realise the point of message boards was to not post in threads. My mistake, my good sir!
I don't think Cyberpunk 2077 is going to be an immersive sim.
>boomer
user, I'm only 24.
You're welcome, if it makes you feel better :)
Nobody plays those games and other obsolete games except autistic schizophrenics.
Literally any other video game made within the last 20 or so years.

Take your meds.

Nice you finally fit in! They learn so quick, I'm proud of you.
>Nobody plays those games and other obsolete games except autistic schizophrenics.
I wish you weren't right. But games aren't like PCs, they don't improve linearly over time. Some old games (not the ones you mentioned) still do some shit way better than modern games do. Until XCOM was remade, no game in nearly 20 years had done that style of gameplay, and look what a massive hit it was once someone took out some of the clunkiness and made it look good.
>Is the president infected?
But zelda is on the switch and lots of newer younger people play it every day
Minesweeper is on the app store and on google and is a quick
He did say true classics tho
Wrong.
It's just gonna be Farcry/Dying Light but in Cyberpunk land.
>Nobody plays those games and other obsolete games except autistic schizophrenics.
When you speak about your own age group, that's true. But some of my nephews first games were a SNES emulator, as well as Half-Life 1+2, and he's only 10. He is currently looking forward to playing Deus Ex and Bloodlines 2.
What also forget how many kids do not have the money to buy a console. Wasn't it brazil, where it is cheaper to build a pc than buy a console? If you life in a household with a PC and no console, piracy will happen sooner or later, and there is nothing easier to pirate than the good, old stuff.
It's kinda ironic really: the modern shit like Cyberpunk 2077 will all be forgotten in a few years and replaced by next product, while all the DRM-free stuff will live on forever, like a legacy.
>Bloodlines 2
Oh how I wish, but you know what I mean.
He's right but he's a retarded hypocrite for thinking the classic games themselves degraded and not how we access them. Of course a game intended for CRT looks like shit now. What's become obsolete is gamer patience and corporate soul as everything has become on-rails, casualized, mainstream, profit-driven. The isometric strategy shooter genre is a great example, peaked with not just XCUM but Nox and Silent Storm and JA2 and Fallout 2 by 1999. All these games successors, spiritual or official, are shit, nonexistent, or not even part of the genre at all anymore.
It is a prototype for a much larger system
>Cyberpunk 2077 will all be forgotten in a few years
Yea, just like Witcher 3 huh faggot
I wish liberty Island wasn't so fucking garbage compared to the rest of the game.
t. played through it 7 or so times now.
>Oh yes, most certainly. When I mentioned I could put him in a priority wing in Walter Reed he was so willing it was almost pathetic.
ikr
It sucks so much to try to convince someone the game is excelent and then have to tell them to not get turned off by the first mission. The first mission is an excelent tutorial but it falls short otherwise
