What game made you stop and think "Oh wow, this has one of the best graphics ever and i haven't seen anything like it" ?

Then I realized that graphics mean dick

back in the day GTA IV
not particularly the graphics, the movement and physics too since then I never had this feeling again

Skyrim.

Hunt: showdown

Half Life 2. There truly was nothing like it. It's only now it's starting to really show its age.

Star Wars Trilogy Arcade

Genshin Impact

I remember Resident Evil 4 back on the Gamecube blew my mind.

Bloodstained. I haven't seen so much attention to detail in a 2D game since Rayman Legends.

Unreal back in 1999.

Rogue Leader on the gamecube.

Played Rogue Squadron on PC. It was pretty dope and definitely one of the best graphics i seen until the Podracer game was released.

Minecraft

Metro exodus

When I was a kid and I saw PS2 games, like holy fuck. Especially the Sony trio. That level of particles, movement, animation, 60fps, vibrancy, it was completely unreal and far beyond the shit I had seen before like Super Mario Bros, Sega Genesis games, PS1, or PC games from that same time. I wish I could look at them through a high quality CRT again.

After that, I was very impressed with MGS4 but really any PS3 game since I didn't have the console for a long time, and GTA IV, LA Noire,Uncharted 4, RDR2, Last of Us 2

Fallout 3

Battlefront (2015)

Its not the best graphics ever in terms of resolution, but Ghost of Tsushima is ridiculously beautiful looking.

When I was a little kid, my brother showed me Morrowind, and I thought:
>Wow, this is insane! You can go anywhere you want? It's like real life!
I always remember Seyda Neen when I think about how far game visuals have come

Alien Isolation back in 2014.

More recently DMCV mostly due to all the particle effects during combat.

What I hate most about graphics in modern games though is the fucking anti-aliasing. It makes me sad that when games start making 1080p the norm, they use TAA to blur the FUCK out of everything and this will continue even when 4K becomes a thing.

>Oh boy it's just too razor-sharp lads, we need to blur it with some TAA!

mgs 1, mgs2, resident evil 7, demo P.T.

Far Cry 4 on Dunia 2 was an incalculable jump compared to Far Cry 3
