What controller do you use for your Switch?
What controller do you use for your Switch?
The one that doesn't have drift issues.
Sn 30 pro+
Does the switch pro have drifting? How the fuck could joycon and the switch pro controller drift?
Like a lot of consoomers, I have a trillion different controllers for the Switch. 10.5 pairs of Joycons, 2 Pro Controllers, plenty of various 8bitdo controllers, and a Brooks converter just in case I want to use the PS4 or Xbone controllers, the PS Classic controller, or a fightstick
All controllers get drift. Even the DS4 has major drift issues. It's just more common and picked up on in Joy Cons.
Been using Wii U pro controller via mayflash adapter. Thinking about getting a Switch pro controller though.
this was the first model with a confirmed fixed d pad and I've been using it since it came out
A PDP controller with programmable keys on the back, giant comfy buttons, easily detachable front cover to clean everything, and it costs only 20 bucks.
Imagine giving shitendo 70-80 bucks for a pair of goycons or a "pro" controller which will both drift after 3 months of use LMAO
I paid $60 for my pro controller and it's been fine for 2 years
They weren't drifting that much on previous gen of consoles. The industry is doing it on purpose to force you to buy new shit and we should drag these fuckers in court.
After getting two of the official pro controllers with faulty d-pads I gave up and played in handheld only until I got a sn 30 pro+ or whatever it's called. I don'[t know if they've fixed that yet.
And here's the simp defending companies and 70$ priced controllers.
t. can't read
I have just about every first party controller imaginable and none drift but joycon. I have decades old n64 controllers, ps2 controllers Xbox controllers, etc and none of those drift. Yet my joycon got bad drift after a year only
Usually the Pro Controller.
this is what I use as well. It's a very nice special edition controller
>pop out front cover
>don't get to the electronics, it's another cover
What's the point
it goes on sale for 60 all the time
Learn to read idiot
Best pro controller reporting in
I see that you bought a 70$ controller, yes.
It sounds insane to a 30yo like me, what's going to happen in the next generation, zoomers are going to pay 100$ for a gamepad the same way snoyfaggits are ready to pay +80$ for lazy remakes?
Pro for regular games sn30pro+ for d pad heavy games
Can you use the Pro controller on PC?
>he fell for the 8Bitdo meme
woow what a great deal
Been using this and it has been working great for me.
it is a great deal
i like playing in ordinary handheld mode. the pro-controller always felt weird to me, and i find it harder to do quick inputs that require unusual hand positions with it. i think its size is a big contributor in that, i can't imagine how it'd feel if i had little kid hands. i play breath of the wild a lot on the switch and use glitches regularly which requires a lot of hook-grips, and i find that the ordinary joycons in handheld mode is the most comfortable method for that. taking the joycons off the switch is too far in the other direction compared to the pro-controller. i don't have anything to push against when sifting my hand when the joycons aren't connected so they end up twisting and needing to be repositioned.
something else to be said about the pro-controller is that the + and - buttons on it are flat rather than sharply raised like on the joycons. maybe it's because i'm so used to joycons, but that makes it harder to press them super quickly. i also don't like the D-pad because i often accidentally hit a direction i didn't want to. i much prefer the n64 C-button style D-pad on the joycons for its precision. you'd need to have the fattest fingers in the world to fuck that up.
thanks doc
All controllers with bluetooth can be used on PC
wtf are you talkin about, the sn30pro+s are great
week 1 switch here, still using the default joycons that came with the system. i had some drift issues last christmas and nintendo fixed my shit for free. been good as new ever since.
