Now, I'm no game designer by any means. But with the custom side ops tools I've made better missions than what people who are paid to make video games could come up with.

No. It was still worth the price. Plus Quiet. She was a well done character with big bobs.

And by that I mean
>destroy mine field in middle of nowhere 1 - 25
>2 tanks and a few guys in a field 1 - 65
>save one shitty C rank who is always in the cebter of the purple circle with only 3 guards 1 - 25

It's a great game but it's incomplete so that brings it down to average.

Yeah, it sucked

It felt like they threw those in last minute when they were forced to release.

They were bad and so a waste of time and money. It seems more likely they didnt know how to make good side ops, as later in chapter 2 they use golden sides ops for narrative purposes, which are completely absent from chapter 2. There are several chapter 1 missions which would have benefited from being golden sideops.

The open world is disappointing. You see everything during the main story and going back to all the same areas gets repetitive. Mother Base feels empty, there's nothing to do on it except those shitty target practice missions and the Paz cutscenes which are really easy to miss.
I don't think I even need to mention how much of a mess the incomplete story is.
The entire game is just wasted potential. The gameplay itself is good but all the shit surrounding it is lackluster.

I liked it.

Yes, it was an incomplete mess with nothing worth while going for it. The only way you can think it was "fine" is if you've never played a Metal Gear game before then.

Why didn't kojima put her in death stranding?

Because he could get actual actors for that.

It wouldve been a let down if Kojima wasn’t smart enough to put Quiet in it.

Gameplay wise it was great. It has some of the best controls ive ever seen in a video game.
Story wise it was fucking trash, moreso than usual for a metal gear game.

This.
Also open world was a mistake. Game would've been so much better if it was a series of huge replayable levels like the Ground Zeroes map

Jew stain

It's the best sandbox commando game since Crysis and the original Far Cry, the controls in particular are truly exceptional.

It is $5 on psn. I might aswell get it. Can I choose not to download the online crap I won't use? Waste of hdd space

Quiet in the rain is more cringe inducing than Meryl getting married

yeah

From gameplay perspective - controls, mechanics - the game is a fucking 10.
It looks and sounds great too.
Base building and research are so-so.
Missions are meh.
Creatividad's story is stiff and retardedly convoluted as usual and cutscenes are painful to fucking watch.
This game needed a Sandbox editor, like 1st Crysis.
I would still play it if it had one, because the game itself plays fucking amazing, there is just nothing to fucking do.

I wish that the story was more than just Kaz and Ocelot talking into cassettes with maybe an actual cutscene here or there. Whoever did the directing for Code Talker's lines also deserves to get shot several times over. Gameplay wise I think it was unwise to allow the player to tackle every objective from almost every angle. Made it too easy to not only find a comfy spot and tranq snipe, but Quiet and DDog further trivialized the game. The multiplayer stuff was fun for a few days.

0/10 worst game ever made

Second best game of 2015.

It was pretty bad. Probably would have been alright if it had been finished. But as it is, it just falls flat. It lacks memorable mission design and set pieces and the story added very little to the series as a whole. There's some interesting stuff going on, but that's almost all in the audio tapes. All things considered, it deserves its bad reputation. At least it was still better than 4, though.

With all the phantom pains the game had, the lack of real weapons was the worst of them

>she waited a year to follow up with Kojima about Death Stranding

It was a bad end to the series but the game itself offers so much replayability if you just want a stealth sandbox game with a lot of wacky tools and features.

It was pretty good actually. Only bad thing was how the story ended.
