It's overrated.
It's only talked about because of its similarities to BOTW and how it compares. Which to me took the faults of BOTW and changed them. Something BOTW doesn't necessarily have the luxury of changing that. Developers won't know if the majority of people will find the game underwhelming or boring until months or years after it's release.
The combat is not that deep.
You WILL get bored after a week or so.
It's a decent enough free to play game, but fuck you if you've spent a penny on this game.

Except if you go into the most active thread in all of Zig Forums, the genshin general (currently has 3 full generals each with 1k+ posts), barely anyone talks about BOTW similarities at all. The main meat of Genshin discussion is party compositions and bitching how they didn't roll a particular character.

Dare to disagree. It's a really refreshing experience in my opinion. I kinda like BOTW, but it gets tedious and boring for me after i play it for like an hour. Genshin impact, on the other hand is so much more rewarding with it's quests and the overall progressing, in my opinion.

At constellation 6 noelle will get 96% of her DEF as ATK, and thats without leveling her elemental burst at all. this seems busted, considering when her elemental skill expires or breaks it will deal 400% ATK as geo damage lets pretend 500 ATK and 1000 DEF, that would make her ATK 500+960=1460, dealing 4x that would be dealing 5840 ATK of damage with one hit as geo damage every time you use your elemental burst.
of course this isnt taking into account crits, or higher stats (which i assume would be completely possible since my noelle gets 1050 def as is and im only AR28)
