Pirating it.

she gave me a boner the entire time
Sirs of course good! Still support cyberpunk. Pirata Chads and Buying Chads are a in this togedther! Still don't forget to buy later is very good!
There is always, ALWAYS a heavier workload towards the end of any software development project. This leads to overtime, and overtime can be considered "crunch." Some crunch, a lot of really, is bad, but I'm extremely skeptical that everything being reported as harmful crunch these days is actually as problematic as people say. I don't really like unions so I'd say that maybe laws that put a threshold on acceptable overtime might be the best solution.
You can avoid crunch by having a private company that doesn't answer to shareholder, has a money well like steam so games are just a side investment, and doesn't announce a game before it's entirely finished.
Rockstar had crunch and the crunch time was not paid.
No threads on Zig Forums
The Last of Us 2 had crunch, workers were not paid overtime.
Zig Forums made threads about it because trannies
Cyberpunk 2077 has crunch people get paid to do so.
More threads than the Last o Us 2
Why is crunch suddenly a problem if CDPR does it? Where were all the talks about boycotting RDR2?
Because CDPR specifically stated they wouldn't do crunch and went back on their word. Pretty sure they also lied about quite a number of other things in their game.
Shrug. Consider that it's part of the EU therefore has actual labor laws, an extra day of work a week that is compensated sounds pretty good, especially because it's programming that you can do at home due to corona
>le shrug
Go back faggot
>Implying I give a shit about slave code monkeys that work themselves to death.
Code my game trannies, if you are unsatisfied with your line of work, get another one.
This is cope
What do you want me to say? I don't care if they went back on their word, if anything I'm more worried about what would prompt the crunch in the first place, but if they already started putting the game on discs then why the hell did they crunch anyway?
don't forget that working overtime gets payed way better
even doubly so if you have to work on holidays
nets you up to 200% per hour worked
I would be mad at them if i didnt look at the fact that this year fucked every other company hard in the ass with corona something that affected this company as well.
Except you're missing the point. CDPR clearly lied about their overtime, they've delayed the game twice now and have been removing features such as the wallrun for better vertical exploration. What else can we expect them to have lied about or back pedaled after we started playing?
Oh look it's the easy fallback. Let's just blame it on corona. They've had two delays already you retarded trip nigger. There should be no reason for them to crunch especially since they can all work remotely.
yeah, i'm angry but at least cdpr is doing it reasonably and most importantly PAID. Crunch is not automatically evil, the problem is that american companies expect 24/7 unpaid overtime.
It sucks that cdpr went back on their word but honestly they were dumb to think they could do it without crunch.
Still, i think american companies could learn from them, a person working twice as much doesn't produce twice as much. Actually, it produces less.
day1 patches and QA for major bugs that might've slipped so they can have a fix as soon as possible
Hopefully not much, the gameplay IS shown after all
Also on a sidenote, careful of shitposters, for some reason this game attracted tortanic autists and they yell about how CDPR broke promises they never made like how "it was originally supposed to happen at night". Document yourself online man, a google search is usually all you need
>only one day of extra work
>PAID work
>everyone at CDPR is okay with it
>has to be done because communist China's big coof bacteria
Fuck off, OP. Go back to your marxit community.
I'm assuming you're some retarded 3rd world mutt who thinks they have to slave away 30 extra hours a week with no pay like you jew slaves are so used to.
In fact they only have to work 7 extra hours a week, which is below the 48 hours maximum number of hours you are legally allowed to work under Polish and EU labour laws. They also get full compensation for those extra hours worked. 7 hours more also isn't a whole lot, especially considering most of them probably work from home anyway with this corona fandango and can just stick and extra hour on each work day and still have the weekend off.
Anywho I'm still pirating CP2077.
they haven't cut nearly as much stuff as v shitposts about. Most of that was a dev going "it'd be cool if we did X" then once actual production started they were like "mmh, maybe X isn't a good idea".
Or it's just journos reading about "X isn't in the game" and v going "oh nonono they cut X".
Games go through cuts all the goddamn time, cp77 is just more open about what they left in and what they removed. That seems like clarity to me honestly.
So will we still have proper vertical exploration, even though we know wall runs have been cut, since they keep mentioning it even in their last nightwire?
By getting another job
And mostly work from home too
Fuck video game journos lol
Pretty much this i rather have this approach than Ubisoft, EA or 99% of other developers that just release a game where the features are missing without proper notification
>So will we still have proper vertical exploration
Yes
SHILLS CRUNCHING
you want devs to stop working on games they made whatsoever? are you stupid op?
>yes
Source?
>There is always, ALWAYS a heavier workload towards the end of any software development project
This is true, who is responsible for this
>maybe laws that put a threshold on acceptable overtime might be the best solution
In Yurop we've had these laws for decades you retarded nigger.
Team leads and managers who either have too high expectations and can't manage their teams properly or they set unrealistic goals and deadlines.
why would i care?
Every single video in the last 24 months they mention it atleast once.
And we have footage where you go through a pretty wide and tall building
>nigger
burger*
If that were true, then why is CDPR experiencing crunch? Or is this a big nothingburger? I don't really care either way.
What is her name user? For... science.
They're getting paid for their work. What's there to fix?
see
The nose knows
God I hope they crunch for a year straight. CP2077 is going to be a short shitheap that will be worth 20$ max if it stays how it is.
>nigger
>burger
Those are quintessentially the same thing.
Don't care
Still pirating cyberpunk 2077
Still voting Biden
Still buying a PS5
Genuinely curious, can you post a link to the footage? This is honestly one of the deciding factors whether I'll buy this game or not
Raise the prices for games.
