Graphics 1/5: ps1 era textures fills the majority of the slums + other areas. Most of the game is set in tiny areas with zero open spaces. Sometimes the game looks good but most of the time it is trash. Obviously SE ran out of time and left in all the garbage assets/bugs. The texture bug is still present in the game 4 months after it is released. FF15 looked better on the xbox one than FF7r on the ps4 pro. I cannot name a ps4 exclusive that overall looks worse than this game.
Gameplay 1/5: Battle system is decent but forces you to switch characters. Tedious amounts of running around doing filler quests. Level design is non-existent. You traverse corridors to enter a room. That's the whole game.
Story 1/5: We all know why they are splitting this into 3 parts. Lets be honest. The amount of filler put into the narrative is insane. The story is boring and uninspired.
Verdict 1/5: Don't buy at $60. Maybe I am getting too old but the people praising this game is setting an extremely low bar of polish for the sequel and console games in general. If this game, a single episode of a trilogy, is worth $60 then cyberpunk 2077 should be worth $500. Wait until FF7r is $10 in the bargain bin and pick it up if you could haggle it down to 5.

Okay so you proved that 6000 simps exist that like the game. I am not surprised. The video game industry is filled with retards who buy incomplete broken pre-alpha stage games for $79.99. Retards also like things like Justin Bieber, and whatever else is the popular focus of the day. Does that make Bieber's music actually good if he used to be the most talked about guy on Twitter? Also how do I know those reviews are genuine? Anyone can make an account on metacritic and post. I could spend weeks and post thousands of "fake" negative reviews, bringing the metacritic score down. Those nips over in Japan could spam positive responses.
This is why steam reviews are generally worse than google or metacritic reviews. In Steam you need to have actually bought the game.
