Zig Forums isn't a good representation of the general public. Even if you take out the 80% of shitposts that make up the board, everyone here is still probably dumber than the average person.

I'm so gald the show is much MUCH better than the comic, which was only fun for the first 20 or so eps before it went full retard with the constant fucking and superhero fetish shit. Somehow the comic forgot what it was about (hating superheroes) and become an actual capeshit comic. Here's hoping the show will keep up its whimsy nature and much better writing.

it's hilarious. just watch for 10 secs, retard.

better surmation would be: what if superheroes were real, in a grounded, current day, world. then: yes they would be sociopathic psychopaths. it also has some jokes about current day society, hit or miss. but mostly hit. I'm hard to please with comedy but this one goes out of its way to upset a lot of people, so it's 9/10 just for that.

Think of it as less "what if Superman...was bad?" and more of "what if Superman was raised from birth to become a corporate product, who feels constantly emasculated by the cognitive dissonance he experiences due to simultaneously being the most powerful man on the planet but also completely pussy-whipped by his corporate masters, who have controlled every aspect of his life since he was in the womb, all for the sake of selling energy drinks and action figures?"

The show is a bit clumsy in its pacing and narrative structure sometimes, but it's got more going on than just being a simple deconstruction

There's a lot more to it, and besides not all the superheroes are evil. They gave them realistic personalities instead of retarded do nothing wrong.

there have been. try playing BF4 online on a HDD, completely unplayable. streaming of textures is really a thing if you want to go for the next level. Most people on Zig Forums are tech illiterate and their only knowledge of pc gaming is indietrash.

The series improves some things, but makes others a lot some worse, for example series Butcher is retarded and in no way leader material

yeah, the comic spun into hyperbole so incredibly quick that any grounding that is always needed for drama, and also comedy was lost. The plot quickly devolved into fanfic tier. I read that in the show they first had homelander jerk off on empire state in season 1 (in line with the bizarro comic's tone), but they wisely decided to scrap it.
