aesthetically, they both suck. xbox gets SOME tiny amount of points for doing the bare fucking minimum in that you don't need a fucking stand to put it down horizontally like every other console that's ever existed. looking past the outside? well ps5 supposedly runs cool thanks to the huge ass fan and all those vents. xbox doesn't seem to have nearly as many vents and apparently gets SUPER fucking hot which MIGHT be a problem at some point.

Series X is more technically impressive in a smaller package. PS5 is more innovative in its hardware design and will probably run cooler and quieter.

The Xbox look simplistic and minimalist, but I like the fact that it looks like a literal box.

what you shown on the picture is literally how modern low profile pc cases work. ventialting from down to top is most optial way since warm air tends to go up and cool air likes to be low where as ps5 has laptop designed cooling that is trash coz of thermodynamics and the fact that there is a lot of air friction in those tight spaces ps5 has causing electrostatic and dust build up (look ps4 up and how fucking loud and dusty it can get).

I have no idea. I'll wait until about a year or two before I even buy one of these consoles. I'll make my decision after launch.
