I watched a stream of BG3 the other night. Did not look interesting in the least. Such a shame.

Why don't you kill your self already OP?
what game did this retard play?
the cleric was friendly and definitely didn't treat me like an "incel loser" (projecting much?)
then I met a wizard who was also chill and joined the party
then the gith joined and acted as a tank
who did this faggot manage to fuck it up and get some kind of other part that hates him?
A video game based around a board game that get's its visuals from your own mind with your imagination wont ever translate well. It's the same reason lovecraft's stories dont go well.
The goblins broke the door to Halsin with an explosion. Does accidentally breaking an important door fuck the quest or is there a way to reset it? Also, Wyll died before he was even in my party. He got crit twice and died. I thought he was just a comic relief character that rushes into battle and dies while yelling about his sword. I only looked up where to find Wyll a few hours later. I don't mind because I'm a warlock and he seemed kinda lame.
>what game did this retard play?
Probably went like
>"Hey, Salter is into all that nerdy shit, let him play it"
>bitches that it's not like the tabletop, have to use a set party, doesn't get the concept of early access shit, etc.
What kind of fucking loser actually follows gaming journalism at all?
>All I needed to do was pass an Intelligence check—which should be easy, with a wizard—and then perhaps I could learn what happened to myself and my comrades!
>Unfortunately, this turned out to be a trap—failing the Intelligence check is a perfectly fine outcome, and leads to either killing the mind flayer, or leaving it to die on its own. But passing the check means that the monster gets its hooks into the hero's brain—who must then pass a much more difficult Wisdom check to avoid being gruesomely murdered.
>The worst part about all this encounter was my party, who you can clearly see idly lolling about in the background. They didn't care when the mind flayer very obviously got its hooks in me. They also didn't care when the mind flayer forced me to lie down with it so that it could eat my brain right in front of them.
So basically he didn't read the dialog carefully, picked the wrong one because small brain wizard thinks every check needs to be passed and died for it.
Shadowheart is pretty chill but has the usual trappings of evil-worshipping people in that while she can be agreeable, she's still a bitch.
Gets points for smack talking the gith bitch though, honestly the main reason I keep her around.
Once you get her to open up she becomes nice... until the day after you sleep with her when the writers make her go immediately back to bitch mode as if nothing happened.
>waaa waaa why does my wizard have a 35% chance of suceeding a deception check
use the friends cantrip or someone with charisma or expand your brain and kill the injured mind flayer to break the mind control.
are there no journos with more than 5 iq?
Jesus.Christ.
This is most souless zoomer shit i heard in vidia. I guess soul means nothing nowaday.
Wait a second you can use your own companions in dialog?
You can tell she's extremely possessive too.
Ah yes, the morning after routine.
I know it well.
The character you initiate the dialogue with has the checks and the options.
Did the same conversation three times with different characters just to see and you can even flex on people as a different race.
Always invert what gayman journo's say. That means the game must be pretty good.
I'm not gonna bother until it's fully released though.
I almost wish during dialog where your party is with you it would allow you to go through all four characters and decide which one to respond on to make a realistic conversation.
>I thought he was just a comic relief character that rushes into battle and dies while yelling about his sword.
Looks like your experience is much cooler than intended.
ugly ui
I played the game for about two hours until it crashed on me, cleared the ruins.
I had a good time but holy shit there are so many buttons.
I mostly remember it being like that in Pathfinder:Kingmaker.
The character with the highest in that stat does the actual conversation option, I vaguely remember them having tried to do that with Divinity at some point.
I'd like this system more too, but I also appreciate that it gives each character and class a unique option. Helps with expressing things.
Hope the system works well enough in co-op though.
these cinematic cutscenes are a waste of dev time. And they look like shit too
It's gonna make Bioware seethe at least, they've been trying and failing at this shit for like 20 years and Larian comes in and does a better job.
The only thing Bioware seethe about would be people getting sick of their woke bullshit and constant teasing of the only property that people give a shit about.
Without Dragon Age, Bioware would be fucked.

not sure which bad thing to ignore
Dragon Age is a shit series with only one good game that would have been mostly ignored if it wasn't made by Bioware and marketed as a Baldur's Gate successor.
The first two hours of BG3 are more enjoyable than the entire DA series and I say that as someone who played through origins like 5 or 6 times.
wtf i'm even more racist after watching this
I know user, I'm just reiterating that the only reason Bioware is still around is because of DA.
If the new DA is shit then Bioware will have to either make a good game or hand out the pink slips.
give her a Jap voice and watch weebs coom over it and say it's 10/10
Where is my variant human and polearm mastery?
