If you mean anti-cheat, then it's kernel level anti-cheat that runs even when the game is not, and doesn't uninstall if you uninstall the game. Luckily, you can end the process and remove it without trouble

DRM embeds itself in your kernel. You'll have to manual delete it via command prompt which requirs a bit of computer know-how, but obviously if you're concerned you shouldn't bother installing.
