It was just a really annoying segment of the game, it wasn't hard.
The constantly having to stop and talk for 30 fucking minutes in the codec and drag Emma around by the hand really slowed the pace of the game down to a crawl.

That part is easy. Just replayed MGS 1 and 2 these past 5 days and mgs 1 is way harder than 2 boss fight wise, when it comes to getting around though the stealth is harder in 2 than 1.
