The content in Deluxe is substantial enough to warrant this, though. You can't say that for any of the Wii U ports, not even fucking 3D World no matter how great Fury ends up.
1 and 2 need to be remade in 3's engine.

Yeah, I'd love pikmin to have more power available for the graphics, but Nintendo also wouldn't be anywhere near as successful in terms of consoles if they released their exclusives on other platforms.
