-Can't complain, future is bright but we need more arcades on closed tracks

Forza horizon 2
Nfs most wanted
I have lost all hope

>AC Competizione
>PGR 2

Great taste user. I learned the Nürburgring initially in PGR2, good times, great game series. Speaking of which, I’ve had to go back to AC from ACC to do some Nürburgring Endurance Cup races since the N24. Buy I’m looking to hop back for the Bathurst runs before the Bathurst 1000 that’s in about a week or so.

Competitive sim racing is too stressful for me, though I did manage one win in GT Sport. So I just drift in GTS/AC or play FH.

I played GTS a lot but got tired of the daily races. They are so goddamn hit and miss. The best recent one was 25 laps of Super Formula around Laguna.

>Waiting for the new forza to come out. I prefer Motorsport over Horizon but Horizon's fun too.

Motorstorm pacific rift/split second/pro street
A sequel to any of them

Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally 2, GRIP, Ballistic NG

Wipeout 3

An even better rally game that can BTFO DR2 and WRC series or a new big budget high-speed arcade racer that's actually good.
I'm yet waiting for my dream driving game, something with realistic physics but a storyline and lots of action that isn't just the driving itself. Think perhaps a 70s cop game a la Starsky and Hutch but with realistic driving physics where you can co-op with a friend who shoots bad guys.
Alternatively something like R: Racing Evolution but more modern with better physics.

-GT Sport
-AC/ACC but I don't have a PC to play them anymore, and I don't know how they run on consoles
-I'm waiting for more info on TDU3. I hope it will have the same feel as TDU2 but with better driving physics (which I doubt it will)

dirt rally and richard burns rally, as ever. dirt rally 2 is made unplayable for me by massive framerate drops at regular intervals

dirt rally

more good rally games

Playing: Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally 2

Favourite: Race Driver Grid

Hopes: An actually good new arcade racer, GRID 2019 was soulless and NFS is dead.
love AG racing too but want something more with cars.

I don`t like racing but driving games are fun.
I want another Burnout Paradise to cruise around in.

Still looking for other polished VR racers. AssCorsa runs and looks awful in VR, Dirt Rally 2 is a regression in VR compared to its previous.

When is Burnout 6

How's the single player in Gran Turismo Sport? Is it worth it? Not interested in online shit

There's no real story, just a long series of fun challenges. Quite a lot to go through. Not sure if the game is worth it without multiplayer at all, but if you find it on a good sale then I'd say go for it.

Some missions are fun, but the AI is really bad

>Race Driver Grid

Genius.

So there's no campaign like in GT3/4? That sucks but I still might check it out since the game is cheap these days, I wish they'd port 5/6 to PS4 since I didn't own a PS3

Check out WRC 9, it's actually very good.

Hey Carbon is great too but Pro Street just holds a special place - i replay it the most out of any NFS (out of any video game for that matter)

The game hasn't been 'fun' since 3/4 user don't worry. the games since have focused entirely on the driving, which is good for a lot of people but I personally preferred the 'win this series of races with these restrictions and unlock this new car!' approach

If 7 goes back to this I'll buy it for sure

Yeah, nothing quite like those games. I want GT7 to come out already, because I own GT6 and boy does that game not stand up to time when on a big screen.

Do people who play racing games prefer to play singleplayer against bots, or multiplayer?

bots are generally braindead, or cheating, so other players is the way to go

Depends, multiplayer can be really cancerous sometimes when other racers lag or they crash into you constantly but it does provide for the best races most of the time.

Multiplayer can be great but I always appreciate a racing game with a good lengthy career mode
