I think I've played that game 7 years ago.

Got used to the new controls pretty quick, I wish dismiss was on dpad up instead of some tips shit but the y-menu seems like it's ok enough to use. The wii remote would adjust automatically to you changing the camera which the gyro doesn't really seem to do which forces you to reset it a lot but it's not too bad. There were a lot of times where I couldn't move even when I was holding down the stick but it might be my shitty drift. There's a lot of little changes that are pretty cool.
Looking forward to it coming out in 4 weeks.

>still cant swarm pikmin
its shit.

every real nintendo fan played all the good switch games on the wii u many many years ago

What are the Hard differences?

Useless feature. Cry more cubie.

This except I didn't even finish it back then so I have no interest to double dip waste my money to a game so I'll not finish a second time.

I liked it but throwing Pikmin feels weird. It’s got a strange delay to it, aiming is fine though but I don’t know if I should use gyro or not.
It also felt super easy, they put nectar fucking everywhere compared to the original.
Pikelopedia is cool too.

I can't believe the game is still 720p.
Every game ported from the Wii U was 1080p on the switch, why not this one?

Who said it's 720p?

The demo is out, I tried it myself.

Pikmin are not real!

Don't question it goy just buy the product

Nnendo is trying its fans. If they accept poor ports and pay full pruce for it, why shpuld they make an effort?

Is it just me or is the whistle huge in this?
Also why didn't they add online for bingo battle? Fuck Nintendo

They made the whistle cover the entire screen for some reason. I'm wondering if it'll be smaller in the very hard difficulty.

Nintendo seems to hate online modes, except for Smash and Mario Kart.

It's not like they hate them, they are just too incompetente to do them, see Mario maker 2.
I am really hoping 3D world online be like that.

Idk how I can play it without the Wii U tablet. Man that was just perfect. It's a shame Nintendo couldn't squeeze out Pikmin 4 for Wii U

They want you to go and play with your friends and family in person. This has always been their MO. It's why their console is the only one with games that has split screen couch coop when everyone else doesn't.

The switch is not for real Nintendo fans. They pulled the same thing with Mario kart 8 too. Now I have my first Nintendo console I never owned Mario kart for.

Are the controls okay on the Lite?

Any way to recenter gyro with opening options? I'm not fucking going back to cube controls, but wtf is up with the lack of a quick center button? Even Skyward Sword got that shit right.

fixed all the issues I had with wii mote controls. The lock on being entirely optiional is great and it doesnt cover your screen anymore. Charge being a button that doesnt need lock on is amazing. Really excited to be ultra spicy mode

Use pointer conrols
r

Nvm, I'm an idiot, it's R bumper. They just don't tell you that.

>There were a lot of times where I couldn't move even when I was holding down the stick but it might be my shitty drift.
its definitely shift drift unfortunately, I had to switch joycons. Its cause movement is all or nothing so the offset is fucking it up.

One tip I have for resetting the gyro is to use the switch settings and remap gyro reset to L3, its sooo much better. R3 is also empty so you can assign anything else like pikmin switch

What does hard mode change?

Difficulty.

Knowing Nintendo and hearing the other guy talk about limitless supplies of nectar, I'm guessing the shifted Normal to Easy (extra supplies) and Hard is the old Normal. Spicy will probably be the one that changes shit.

I think hard mode has shorter days but cant measure it right now and possibly stronger enemies

Ultra Spicy is 60 pikmin and probably the abive

Only played handheld so far but I thought the controls felt great.
