Put this one kind of difficult to obtain block in this certain pattern and light it with flint and steel

my dad told me
thanks dad
>beat minecraft
Unironically. Even nuMinecraft literally doesn't tell you.
It was made at a point where everything was unknown, including every recipe.
It must be an oversight. It goes out of its way to tell you every single other step in Advancements.
Im assuming the achievement progression hints at it, that's about all this game has in terms of a tutorial/questline.
The most recent version of the game has unfinished portals that can rarely spawn in the overworld, that's their method of teaching the player about them.
>WAAAH WHY DOESNT THE GAME TELL ME EVERYTHING WAAAAH
I guarantee you learned it from someone else and not the game
as it should be. friends sharing secrets with each other was kino. nowadays there are no secrets in games.
you're welcome, son
Yeah that’s the fun with secrets like these moron.
It's called soul
Notch knew there was a community around the game, he didn't have to tell you shit
you're not
Give me 1 (one) legit problem with this with a game as social fucking Minecraft. It's not like it was released in the 90s.
It was explained in the pre-release information for the Nether update.
>nowadays there are no secrets in games
I feel like the only way to keep secrets in videogames nowadays is through randomization of variables.
No but really how the fuck did people find out about it?
You're one of these gotta beat em all guys huh. The Japanese have you right where they want you.
They added naturally spawning broaken portals in 1.16
notch put it on the update page
Notch told us
read update logs and look at preview screenshots
talk to you're friends and share knowledge
Well if you somehow acquired minecraft, it was assumed that you had internet.
SOUL
Even then
There gonna some fag who gotta datamine your gme to the point of finding everything and then making a cheat to see it directly
Pretty based desu.
>Info that is exclusively in ancient patch notes and wikis that compile them is required to continue within the game
They took those antipiracy tools of old and then just made it more obtuse because it doesn't even come packed with the purchase of the game so someone going in blind wouldn't even know to look for that info, AND it doesn't even deter piracy in any way.
Minecraft was never designed to have a tutorial.
The fact that you have a recipe book these days is probably the biggest casual shit.
that's why the second option (sharing info via word of mouth) is a thing, you dumb cretin, you absolute buffoon, you insolent idiot
And what if you know no one who happened to be reading through ten year old patch notes?
then go out and find someone who heard how to build an ender portal from someone who heard it from someone who heard it from someone who played once with a someone who built an ender portal and learned to build it from his older brother who read the ancient patch notes when they were brand new, you dunce.
It was in the original nether update's patch notes and then spread through wikis and word of mouth.
