Give me a reason to buy this at launch other than "it loads the games you're already playing slightly faster." Spoiler: you can't.

You can resume up to 4 single player games where you left them, thats kinda dope and sounds like a direct upgrado to my og xboner, also the auto upscaling for games

>give reasons
>n-n-noooo t-those don't c-cooount!

>kinda dope
Do you think people talk like this xbox shill?
Also who the fuck has the broken attention span that they need to paly 4 differnt single player games at once

I had an Xbox 360 and I skipped the Xbox one. That’s my reason. If you don’t have one don’t buy it, why does it matter?

Much, much better than a ps5 and a heck of a lot cheaper than build a pc that can match its power. Plus free enhancements and the ability to use old bone controllers.

I would get it if past gen I had a Xbox One instead of a PS4, the way I see it as long as PS5 can play most PS4 games the PS5 is more affordable for me

cry more retard

>buying consoles at launch
Is there anymore more stupid?

>buying consoles day 1
you won't be this stupid, right user?

Having a great time with my xbone s. When this comes out it's a 1:1 replacement and upgrade, I can sell the One S and keep my second controller.
Like PS4, I'll get a PS5 once there's a killer exclusive (Souls doesn't interest me) and sell it once I'm done with it.

>paly
>differnt
Fuck off, Deepak.

I could understand if there was a must play game.

It's going to be my main console next gen and I'm going to play Yakuza 7 day one, then Ninja Gaiden 2 and Breakdown.

Todd wouldn't be happy with you if you bought a ps5.

No you don't buy it at launch. You buy it in a year when better models come out at a lower price.

If you have a cutting edge PC, then there is no point. But you DONT have a cutting edge PC, your PC is meme tier.

It looks like a nice piece of hardware, so I’ll buy it. PS5 just looks like chinese shit

That depends entirely on what games you even want to play. Unless you're suggesting everyone get 2 thosuand dollar rigs to play minecraft.

so you can reply with no that doesn't count? lolno

I'm getting one on launch to replace my old shitty 360 and play a bunch of my old games in higher quality. Kinda hyped to play NGB and RDR again.

There’s 0 reasons to buy a launch console, the games aren’t going anywhere

Gamepass you double nigger. Never need to buy a game again. Also are you really planning to play PS4 shit on the PS5?

Had a 360, really loved it. Ps4 was my first PlayStation and I hate it and everything Sony stands for. All their games feel the same and their big games that are supposed to be fun: I hate them.
I'm a pc and console player. I just bought a house which was expensive enough and I noticed that I don't play much on pc. I'm a pirate fag and I've had at least 20 PCs in my life time. I've lost count.
I do dull stuff on pc like taxes and writing bills and I always have that in mind when I fire up my pc. I think game pass might be something that will make me try purchasing stuff legally for the first time ever in my life. I also hate the PlayStation controller.

It adds HDR support to your older games. I'm almost considering it for that alone.

fucking ESL retard
is this your brain on snoy?

Wait so what actually is the launch lineup for these consoles?
I still haven't seen an actual list of confirmed launch games for either system this shit is getting weird.

loading games fast doesnt matter anymore?
whats going on sonyroaches, do you know something we don't

lmao that box is huge. Maybe they should have done the same with their fire hazard console.

Im about 75% sure thats not even possible but I'd like to be corrected.

As I understand if the color information was not HDR from the original source there is nothing to be done about it?

I'm an Xbox boy, but don't ever buy a console at launch. Always wait for them to fix the inevitable launch issues and the price to drop.

Oh and for example Halo MCC does not support HDR on windows 10, if it was easy enough to implement that "it will make all your old games support hdr" then why has MS not made old games support HDR on windows?

snoys I really wouldnt start another cope meme about size, last time you did that the ps5 ended as a bulky abortion
now think how big of a box is needed to house "that"

venturebeat.com/2020/10/06/xbox-series-xs-machine-learning-auto-hdr-renders-stunning-results/

This, might as well call these Early Access consoles.
Personally just gonna be patient and wait for 1.0 (slim)

I have 3gb 1060 gtx with i7 4770k should I bother with a new console?

>be sonyroach
>btfo with the onex
>"im waiting for ps5 haha"
>btfo with the SX
>"im waiting for slim haha"
what are you gonna wait for when xbox BTFOs you in 3 years

Thats actually very neat but not quite as neat as I thought. Its not true HDR but a very close approximation of what it would look like, like dlss kinda.
Still very cool, hdr is fantastic and its honestly difficult to play anything without it now, ill spend hours tweaking my color settings for a single game just to make it look right if it doesn't support hdr, shit sucks.

If you don't have a gaming pc it does backwards compat very well.

seriesX shits all over that setup, if you have 500buckaronis then upgrade your life

Ill probably still be waiting for a game worth buying any console for.

I wasnt specifying Playstation when I said slim you retard, what the fuck do you think am Xbox One S was?
Rent fuckin free.

quick rundown on HDR?

For Yakuza 7 I would.

I think some BC games are only on Xbox like the most famous example being red dead 1 having Xbox being the definitive way to play it

Frist off who the fuck plays 4 games at once and second please tell me you aren't trying to say Microsoft invented saving your fucking game.

ah yes, let me list all the xbox "slims"
>

You’re a moron

Attached: Screenshot_20201007194751.jpg (1440x1443, 441.98K)

its not about literally playing them at "once", its about them being 5 seconds away from playing
no loading screens, no save loading, jumping right in

Attached: 1601501665165.png (952x711, 496.1K)

Its just better colors, deeper blacks and more accuracy.

Its kind of like the transition from black and white to color, except a bit more subtle. Its hard to describe but I can tell you that Red Dead 2, for example, looks 10x better at medium settings with HDR enabled than it does at ultra settings without HDR. (Hdr doesn't affect performance, I've just been tinkering with all the settings in rdr2 this week so its the best example I got.)

I heard HDR was bugged in RDR2, was that fixed?

There's no reason to ever buy anything at launch

Congrats you got the new sparkly hardware
..with no real games
..which will be outdated when they decide to make a new version
..which is already more expensive that just buying a pc you can use for other things too.

Idk, works for me but I only bought the game last week. Playing on a 4k LG tv and its the prettiest game I've ever seen by literal orders of magnitude.

yeah exactly the ONE slim that xbox ever had, 2 gens ago
bone S isnt a "slim" as you can see from these results here

compared to playstation that has slims every gen
well done sonyroach

You're right. But I'll do you one better. There will never be a reason to buy it. Piss poor hardware and it will never have any games. PC+PS+Nintendo master race.

why in the fuck would anyone get a playshitstation lmao
