That's a decent analogy. The campaign is really fun, and the graphics still hold up. Too bad the only way to get it these days is to buy used or torrent, I wish it was released on Steam like RoN. I have a physical copy with a really cool box, unfortunately I'm not home rn

But because of the fucking filters I had to pause the game multiple times because I was getting motion sick.
Still finished it despite the gameplay getting very boring fast.

i was so dissapointed by this game. was sick and got off one whole week from school back then. finished ss 1st encounter and wanted to try another game after. got my hands on this. booted it up in the morning, by midnight I already finished the campaign. comparing it with the previous rol and its exp, God damn it, it was such a different beast.

I think the RoN branding is what killed it. Pretty much no RoN fans were interested and wanted only RoN 2, trashing the new game. RoL was supposed to get expansions which would fix many of its issues but there was barely any interest. They really should have called the game something else
