The Movie Battles II mod for Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy has dozens of near-perfect map recreations of places that were in the movies.

god that was probably one of my most favorite moments in a game ever
although it shouldn't have been a survival map
Mount and Blade has the greatest LOTR maps I have seen
Bridges of Druzhina. It's overplayed by noobs that just mow down bots with the mg42 but with a full server, its one of the kino-est maps of all time.
Helm's Deep maps are consistently kino.
God that looks like a nigger and a half to siege.

Not even only Star Wars locations, there's map packs that include the most random unrelated shit. And it all gets played.

How come CS:GO doesn't have maps like this? Last time I played it was just auto match making. They don't have private servers with regular communities like CS:S.
I'll never forget my first match on that map.
>police cars had a soul stealing "jail" spell that instantly locks your hero in the car, More so, placing them within an invulnerable guarded jailed gate, unless the cars themselves get destroyed
The police had the most unbalanced units in the map, aside from the Yakuza. Peasants usually went for the mayor, since you get like 100 gold every few minutes.
It's the only map that didn't make me regret buying RO2 after it's shit launch and cannibalization of Ost Front.
Yeah
Yes. There's like a total of 45 - 60 minutes of some low-tier speedrunner detailing each and every issue with the map and the whole saga of drama behind it.
I watched the whole thing at a family gathering on my phone; otherwise I wouldn't know shit about this.
That, the pirates of the caribbean map, and frostdrake ate up so much of my time as a teen
