I started Blood: Fresh Supply last night. It's pretty good. I had already played the original Blood, and the remake feels a bit different somehow... is the running speed decreased? Or is it just my imagination? Anyway, it works, and without the shitty mouselook of the original.

By the way, is bMouse supposed to work with Linux DOSBox? I tried it once and it didn't seem to be working. I guess it doesn't really matter anymore if Fresh Supply is an option. I just never knew if it was my own fault that I couldn't make it work. The game would run but the mouselook didn't feel substantially different.

no idea, sorry

can it run Apex Legends? fucking doubt it.

it worked before Easy AntiCheat fucked it up
tl;dr
tell Tim to stop intentionally fucking shit up

none. if i installed linux, i wouldnt be playing games on it. there are no games.

>guys, I heard that luoneeix is just command line that only hackers can use
eh, 3/10 bait, but fine, have a pity (you)
try to come up with something better next time

>10 000 Linux native games on Steam alone and half of the remaining games work in Proton
If Linux is no games, then every platform is.

Steam Proton has like easily a 60-70% success rate playing games ta basically native levels of performance and fidelity
Comes with the added bonus of not having Microshaft shoved down your throat constantly while you play

>guys, I made a strawman and attacked it
3/10, try better

You could using a VM.

been playing lots of Factorio lately. never thought I'd be autistic enough to enjoy this game

Just CSGO recently. The rest of my time is taken up with anime and vtubers.

With how shitty Noita runs, I can't even be smug about gaming on Linux.
Still, snagged Vanquish on Steam today. It was like 5$.

That's not what he said.

000 Linux native games on Steam alone and half of the remaining games work in Proton
>If Linux is no games, then every platform is.
These aren't Linux games. These are Windows games running in some scuffed compatibility hack.

>Steam Proton has like easily a 60-70% success rate playing games ta basically native levels of performance and fidelity
Getting at least 10% lower framerate and having bugs that don't happen on Windows isn't "basically native levels of performance and fidelity."

>You could using a VM.
How is that "Linux gaming"?

>what video games have you been playing on your Linux machine recently?
None because I prefer to spend 5 seconds rebooting into Windows and getting the superior gaming experience.

>posting "there are no games" after one or more games were already mentioned
too slow

You don't have to post in this thread, you know.

>You don't have to post in this thread, you know.
When I don't these threads die with barely any replies.
You should be grateful.

Okay thanks for shitposting.

all of them, because my linux machine has a small windows partition for gaming.

>having bugs that don't happen on Windows
I'm aware that such games exist, but all the ones I play tend to work perfectly.
>10% lower framerate
I tend to leave v-sync on, so it's 60 on Windows and 60 on Linux. 60 is easy. But I guess if I had a 144Hz monitor then I might notice a loss in performance.

>When I don't these threads die with barely any replies.
Are you saying you're responsible for the anti-Linux tantrums seen in every Linux thread?

Been stomping some retarded kids on Tekken 7 recently. Works extremely well.

I've been playing doodleordie.com. Drawing tablet works so that's cool

I dual boot because modern multi player games with kernel based anti cheat doesn't work on linux

>Are you saying you're responsible for the anti-Linux tantrums seen in every Linux thread?
No. Only for some of them in some of the threads.

Well you're wrong about these threads dying without your shitposting in any case. Occasionally, when idiots like you aren't online, we have nice Linux threads that stay up for hours without any crybaby shit from Windows users.

Sorry to break it to you but everyone can have a quick look at the archives and see how soon most of these threads die.
Also don't call me a Windows user you retard.

>Sorry to break it to you but everyone can have a quick look at the archives and see how soon most of these threads die.
Its Zig Forums practically every thread dies quickly. GNU/Linux gaming threads increasingly see quite a bit of activity especially when no Windows 10 users show up to troll.

Finishing up NWN, likely to pick up the new Baldur's Gate when I'm done. Just saw that Larian is adding some fixes for Proton. Not as good as them just using Vulkan everywhere, but at least they're paying some attention to supporting modern platforms.

>How is that "Linux gaming"?
Arch linux allows to make super fast VM's for games that got no linux support like origin games like BF4, linux is all about options and freedom.

>Also don't call me a Windows user you retard.
Okay Windows user.

If you don't use Windows then why are you coming into this thread just to shit on Linux? Are you a Mac user? Is that why you're so butthurt about Linux? Because Linux surpassed Mac in terms of gaming despite having less native support? lmao

>These aren't Linux games. These are Windows games running in some scuffed compatibility hack.
No modern platform has native support for these games, and all the compatibility layers have issues. The GNU/Linux compatibility layers have the advantage of additional configuration options that can mean that they'll work when potentially no other solution will. There are already games being bundled with elements of Wine on Windows, just like DOS games get bundled with DOSbox.

>Getting at least 10% lower framerate
Depends on the drivers you're using, my frame rate is actually higher than Windows because my GPU doesn't have functional Windows drivers.

You're still using Windows except now you have to pay for a second GPU and either a second set of mouse + keyboard or a KVM switch.
I've yet to see anyone name one actual benefit for doing this. The closest anyone ever got was "you don't lose your Linux session" but that's something most people don't care about at all.

>I-it's because Zig Forums is fast ...!

I already said in this thread that I dual-boot.
The only thing I'm butthurt about is that games don't work well on Linux.

>Depends on the drivers you're using, my frame rate is actually higher than Windows because my GPU doesn't have functional Windows drivers.
What GPU? I often hear people saying that games on AMDGPU work better on Linux than Windows but I checked that personally and it's bullshit.

Retro gaming (8/16bit) because modern games are trash.

>using an emulator to play native PC games

Why are Loonixfags like this, PC gaming is already bad with devs making shitty PC ports

>You're still using Windows
Yes, cause there's stuff I can't do on linux with easy like video edition, shop and play BF4, plus I don't have to deal with windows 10 jank and bs updates, shit get bloaty I just kill it.

Been playing a lot of Hades. It crashed twice in about 40 hours of playtime so far.

>windows 10 jank and bs updates
How does running it in a VM make those any different?

Proton is no more an emulator than Windows' compatibility mode is an emulator. Are you emulating Windows XP when you play a game from 2001 on Windows 10?
