Devs are incompetent and lack any experience. People wanted more maps and a map editor and they only brought 4 maps, one of which being a team game mode which everybody despises. Decent game, horrible management and it deserves sharing the same fate with pubg

Honestly 8 maps would have been much better I think 4 gauntlets 2 team games and 2 showdowns would be optimal. Unfortunately it’s not what we got but it’s all good it was free and I still like it.

It was flavor of the month streamerbait. It had nothing keeping people playing, it was always for the reactions and le funny meme clips. There was no future.

There's not enough new shit to justify playing it again for me, 4 new maps is just laughable and they haven't really added anything else besides new skins apart from that. They should really add a map editor, or better yet make map layouts at least semi-random since they're adding so few of them.

What happened was Mediatonic was unable to cope with the unexpected success of the game from the very first day and have been doing a terrible job since. They seem incapable of listening to the community, addressing simple fixes and not fucking up what theyre doing well. They were also retarded enough to call their 4 medieval maps a "Season" which lead everyone to believe (reasonably) that the old maps were either gonna get replaced or reskined.

Theyre just so fucking dumb it's awful to watch.

only 4 new levels, and one of them is the new worst one in the game (the egg scramble re-skin, I can't even remember what it's called). I like the other 3 new ones but it's not enough

not enough maps, horrible spectating and party/lobby system, no option to just play with 4-10 friends on a private server. it's a party game but even with friends it feels like you're just playing on your own.

The concept is too simple to get away with only 4 new levels. 10-20 would be easy.

They don't even need to be complicated new levels. Just variations on the already existing ones would be great.

It's so easy to keep this game relevant for at least a year or two but I'm sure they'll be too dumb to figure it out. They should've done this:
And once the game becomes stale again they need to go the Mario Maker/Little Big Planet route and release a robust map editor. That would breath life into the game for a long time since the community seems 10000x more capable of making concepts than Mediatonic themselves.
