Serious talk, is Automata a good game or are people just blinded by the ass?
This is a pre-rendered screenshot of Sneed and Chuck
This is a in-game screenshoot of pokemon

Cringe, A2 best girl
This is not an in-game screenshot of li li
How can we confirm that "Sneed" on the left is really Sneed? As for the one on the right, I wouldn't think Chuck would be friendly with Sneed, considering he got bought out by him and his pride and joy was turned into a gummy bear shop.

> pointy chin

2/10
>I'm a tool that loves sucking dick like the huge faggot I am
this is crack.
I dunno man I'm just trying to derail a shitty thread
I liked it. A lot. Only watched her ass because of the trophy.
Blinded by the ass. It's a soulless game and all 2b will be remembered for is the SFM porn
Why is she so hot
So is this.
Wouldn't Sneed be the shopkeeper anyway? They're most likely to be farmers supplying Sneed.
this is also an in game screenshot of nier automato
moles are disguising and often turn cancerous
I really enjoyed it for the story, but I'm a huge sucker for 'what is a human' and 'machines having '''''souls''''' type stories. Combat is real fun too.
Seriously? It's one of the greatest gaming experience, ever created. An all around memorable and enjoyable ride, with ending that legit made me teary eyed.
N:A is easily closest to a PS2's golden era -style gaming phenomena. If you enjoyed atmospheric classics like Silent Hill, MGS, Ico / SotC,... etc, and don't mind the idea of mixing it with some pseudo-DMC style action gameplay (and plethora of other styles & genres), then you really need to play both NieR games.
It's a GOAT masterpiece, and the "ass" is not only underwhelming, but in for a mere 1/3rds of the whole game.
I've beaten it fully twice now; first on PC, and later on PS4 as well. Definitely can see myself replaying it many times in the future.
Heard story is good but I have to beat game 3-4 times to get final ending and you have play 2 times same route just from different perspective. Also combat seemed boring.
>Heard story is good but I have to beat game 3-4 times to get final ending
That's not true. It's a linear story, split into "episodes". The fake credits seem to really trigger zoomers, huh?
>you have to play 2 times same route
No. The B chapter is vastly different from A, and gives an all new meaning and perspective to the first episode.
>combat seemed booring
So you've not even played the game, and just came to shit post? Got it.
Not to mention if all you know about or care of is some hack & slash combat, then you reeeally don't have any idea what you're getting into.
>you have play 2 times same route just from different perspective
That's the same as claiming that Resident Evil 1 and 2's two playable characters' campaigns would be the one and the same.
And no, you only need to play the game once, to the real end. None of that starting from the very beginning / from half way point that plagued 2010's NieR.
I liked it.
its definitely not perfect, but I'm glad I played it.
Sounds like someone never figured out how to explode her skirt
>The B chapter is vastly different from A
Did we play the same game? B's prologue is different and there are a few new scenes throughout but it is mostly the same as A just with a different player character.
The two times of the same route shows a lot more stuff in the story, and all the side quests are pre-completed bar a few new ones, so you can blitz through it a lot faster. Once that's completed, your next 'replay' is actually just a flat continuation from the end of A and B and acts as the second half of the game. Once you get ending C or D, you can bounce back and quickly do the other, then you get ending E. ezpz.
I played the game that's exacly I say combat is boring. I got bored after a couple of hours. But music was very nice.
I did, but I don't care.
I was legit about to skip the whole game, simply because I don't care about coomer waifus, nor am I a fan of the "DMC clones".
FORTUNATELY, I started noticing more hush-hush conversations about the game's story and themes, plus my good buddy recommended it to me later on, so I ended up giving it a shot. And now it's easily in my top-5 games.
>Did we play the same game?
clearly not, because B is roughly 2/3 brand new content, even within the same areas / scenes of the A route.
Both. It's overrated but still good
except its fucking not.
its a pre-rendered cutscene.
>I played the game that's exacly I say combat is boring. I got bored after a couple of hours.
Seems like you're a bit too ADHD and shit tasted then. I spent 30 hours in the chapter A alone before I unlocked the fast travel, and I know that many more hasty folks could beat the game in that time. Truly few games have captivated me like Nier Automata in the past 10 years.
Pre-rendered.....or pre-cutscened? Yeah that's what i thought....
No, I can play slow game or game where I have to read a lot but Nier just has boring combat.
60fps lock is pretty lousy and 1600x900 30fps cutscenes are terrible too
I not only would like to know what games you consider to have "good combat then", but also WHICH combat style are you referring to.
I only know this bitch because of that feet webm that was spammed a few months ago, is the game any good? what genre is it anyway?
It is well made, but seems to me that it lacks a lot of depth, especially for a platinum game. I almost feel like I am missing something, even after beating the game once (though you are supposed to beat it multiple times to truly beat it). The production value is excellent, and the atmosphere and ambiance are great. The story is japanime boring psuedo-philosophy shit, and that is coming from someone that is a massive weeb. It is worth giving it a shot.
Those lips
see : >what genre is it?
It's an action-RPG with hub-style "open" world (but not sandbox), but in truth it mixes in tons of different styles and genres, including shoot'em up. You can also go fishing.
>That game left me feeling empty inside.
You get the game for the booty but you stay till the end for the plot and feels.
I was honestly disgusted by the butt.
I was much more happy to play as 9S and A2.
I just started playing 2 days ago. Its good, it has a Ghost in the Shell vibe.
A self installer mod fixes that. Also, 4k textures + HDR makes the game look so much better.
A2 best girl.
Sneed is the shopkeeper. No one knows what Chuck looks like. The two farmers often posted are unidentified and known as Farmer 1 and Farmer 2.
but 9s is flat
>A self installer mod fixes that
oh? which one?
>it has a Ghost in the Shell vibe.
Nice to see I wasn't the only one to notice it.
Especially the Japanese chorus in the early tunes is very GitS 1995 .
I liked it a lot and didnt even saw her ass on my game cos i never used self destruct
The FAR mod also NAIOM mod so you can play with kb&m.
Yes, anyone who made it to ending E would be lying through their teeth if they didn't tell you that it is possibly the greatest ending to any game. You really should experience it
It is one of the greatest video games created in the last two decades.
That game gave me actual depression for like a week.
pic related is in-game snapshot form a YouTube video @ 720p for a game released in 2010. this mogs your bimbo from a 2017 game which half of it's game budget went to model her ass and lips.
the absolute state of v/coomers.
No. The combat is ridiculously simplistic and the story is not at all worth fawning over like weeaboos usually do
I found it to give me hope in the future.
If my little push helped some random user, I'm glad.
>the "ass" is underwhelming
Gayest post I've seen on Zig Forums all year.
This is an in-game screenshot of 2B.
>posts kino
Don't think this is the right thread for this boss.
It's great. Soulful as anything. The story is brilliant, it's a throwback in a lot of ways to speculative sci-fi from the 60s-70s Play the original Nier too, it's equally as good.
Shouldn't have. it left of on a optimistic note.
How do I get better at dodging? Everytime some robot manages to hit me and take a bunch of health
That game was made with 10 times bigger budget, with most of the money going to marketing, with the final product lacking the lasting appeal Automata has.
>that wart
Yuck
