>Actually playing Persona 4
OH NONONONONONONONO
P3P's 2d graphics are so much better than this barebones 3d shit
Can I get a qrd on P4 and/or P5? I only played Nocturne and SJ before and expected similar gameplay, but all I'm getting after 3h in both is wordswordswordswordswords interrupted by the occasional 15min of actual gameplay. Does this change at some point so that it's actual gameplay and not a VN or should I stop playing now?
It turns into more of a game later when you get into the TV world but yes a lot of it is words words words.
The entire point of Persona is that is a social sim VN game mixed with a dungeon crawler rpg. If you dont like VNs then you wont like persona because thats 50% of the game.
Persona 3, 4, and 5 are hybrid JRPGs and VN "lifesims" intentionally designed for a casual audience compared to SMT games. If you don't like the life sim part then don't bother. Persona 1 and 2 would be closer to what you'd be expecting, as they were designed to still be SMT spinoffs.
i think italians go to school monday to saturday but school hours are only until lunch time
oh wow have you guys never had a class on a saturday?
Don't forget Sunday Schools for all that religious indoctrination.
Thanks a lot! I guess I'll rather play SMT4 instead then, or maybe one of the ps2 spinoffs.
>Does this change at some point
No
sunday school is just a part of a church, its not "school but about church". If you're going to sunday school your parents are already making you go to church service.
I'm playing P3P rn and I hate the 2d environments. The 3d spaces are filled with soul.
Did they actually discuss Kokoro in Persona 4? Loved the book, but I can't remember this being in the PS2 version.
>Being black in school
Do 13% of Americans really?
During test terms we had to come school in on sat in england. Although kids would bunk it.
If i hated the writing of 90% of the social links in p3 will I like p4 or 5?
Japan has fucking cram schools were students can attend more schooling after attending regular school, hell you can technically go to school during the holidays. It's not like America where students get 4-6 weeks off school between semesters. In Japan they're going to school basically year round and in the summer as well, plus you have entrance exams. We don't have those in America, well, except for certain ivy league schools I guess. You have the SAT and ACT where your score does determine your placement in a better college I suppose, so it could be comparable to that.
It does get better but at the same time, probably not.
We used to get every second wednesday off during the last year of high school. Shit was so cash
Places with year round schools have shorter, but more frequent holidays. A "summer break" is about two weeks long, but you also have days off scattered throughout the year rather than only a small few in the US. Japan being Japan, though, typically gives students some assignment they have to complete over the break and turn in when they return to school.
Are you retarded? Sunday school is church school. If you're not involved with religion you wouldn't go to Sunday school.
Depends on why you hated them. P5's social links (confidants in that game) have more stuff happening due to the themes of the game, and have I think the most adult social links with adult problems.
Seniors at my high school basically got to go home early, well, maybe not all of them but they called it "early release" and it was pretty nice. I was going to school at 8AM but leaving by around 2PM if not earlier, meanwhile most of the other students had to stay till 3:30PM.
And while it is "can", you are expected to if you want to do well.
