Cyberpunk is a confirmed Movie game

cool. Still buying it.

Shills in full force

Cool, still buying it.

why did they make female V for their marketing more ugly

Does this look fun?

>More dialogue
>It's all ready confirmed to be shorter than the Witcher 3

>Zig Forums now care about developer work ethics and dialogue heavy games
wow, it's like the shills took a page out of mainstream media in gaslighting techniques

What is it with this new hate for "Movie games" when you weeabos love Dragon ball games and shit like that?

Also more dialogue doesn't mean it'sa movie, it means more banter in the city, more dialogue options for the protagonist instead of "yes ciri steal horses" "no no steal horsey".

The main quest is shorter. Not the exploration, side quests, content, etc. In Witcher 3 you can't even rent a room in an inn. You don't need to eat or do anything. Here it seems you can do all of that to the point the creators want it to be killed an immersive sim.

why is there dialogue above his head, is that how subtitles work?

More dialogue means nothing if it's not well written. Witcher 3 was well written so I'm not too worried, but I will say that from what I've seen from gameplay footage from the game, the dialogue seems gay as shit. I'll play this game in chinese for maximum immersion and to avoid the characters cringe worthy delivery

Div 2 has a fuck ton of dialogue but isn't a movie game

curious, since you seem very well cultured on the matter. What are some well written character dialogue games out there?

nice

I wish it had none. Great gameplay ruined by schizo walls of text.

Baldur's Gate II, Valkyrie Profile, Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy VI, Xenogears, Muv-Luv Alternative, Persona 2 Duology

Str8?

kind of wish some of those with voice acting got redubs because some of the older stuff VO's aged real bad.

Like I said I thought Witcher 3 was pretty good. Characters were cool, pretty easy to keep track of things without character recapping the story for you every 2 minutes, plus it had it's funny moments.

Off the top of my brain I think VTM Bloodlines and Fallout New Vegas also have very good dialogue. VTM's is ridiculously stupid at times, but it fits the the general tone of the game I felt like. I really like how characters pass lore to you through dialogue in Fallout New Vegas, I also love how everyone has his own political opinions which make sense and fit their character and their interests.

I also think Naughty Dog do dialogue really well, although it feels too derivative from hollywood.

>dialogue
getting a bad feeling about this
the outer worlds was literally nothing but roasties filling up the game with no subtance dialogue and it gave me ptsd.

Since this is shaping up to be a huge trainwreck, what kind of game did you WANT Cyberpunk to be?

Why yes I hate str8 men how could you tell!?

Deus Ex's Setting & Atmosphere + New Vegas's customization & Faction System

why?

Stop. Don't make me think about it. It hurts every time thinking about what it could have been.

>they took this from you

>Cyberpunk 2077 will have more dialogue than all of the Witcher 3 did
>Cyberpunk 2077 will have a shorter campaign because cdred saw players begin to drop off by hour 30~ and not finish the game
so, uh, how does that compile?

New Vegas was a low budget game, why are they so much more well designed & full of content then big budget games?

constraint breeds creativity

the smaller map and faster mode of transportation will probably be the biggest factors there

You aren't wrong. As soon as something becomes so popular that they can get away with anything, they stop trying.

Way more side quests, first person cutscenes maybe allowing them to pump in more dialog, and Johnny is always in your head. Realistically you are going to get people talking to you while you quest, alot

If you hate dialogue go play pong.

>No Subways
>No Flying Cars
>No Trains
>Only one Apartment
>No buying Cars
>No Factions
>No Joining Corporations
>No Role-Playing
>3 Branching paths that diverge into one set path eventually
>No Joining Cops
>Journos hate it now
>Trannies hate it now
>Normies don't care because GTA V is still popular as shit
>Japan doesn't care because it's not on the Switch
>PC fags don't care because there's no modding at launch
So literally who is this game made for?

it's not just about the dialogue at this point

>>No buying Cars
what the fuck

but I guess people who really like seeing e-celebs everywhere?

It's how they worked in The Witcher 3.

Do you think subtitles could handle dozens of people speaking around you at once at the bottom of your screen? Subtitles can't even handle 2 people talking at times.

dialogue choices don''t make it a movie game retard, you can't choose what the character says in a movie

>It's all ready confirmed to be shorter than the Witcher 3
only the main campaign is shorter, there's more side quests in Cyberpunk 2077 so if you beat the game in 50 hours you only have yourself to blame.

>We know that back at E3 2019 Senior Level Designer Miles Tost confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 will offer "some customisation options" for vehicles but judging by Sasko's latest interview, there won't be any options for vehicle customisation
There are only 29 cars, but they come in different "variants". You can't customize them in any way

it's amazing how this game went from being a Day 1 buy to making me reconsider even pirating it

When did the attitude toward this game turn? I know Zig Forums is not one person but besides the minor gripes here and there nobody seemed to mind CDPR too badly with the Witcher series. It seemed like a night and day switch for the majority of posters the minute screenshots of Cyberpunk came out that shower sunlight. It seems that while not being perfect CDPR is still one of the very few devs not shoehorning as much cancerous shit into their projects at all times.
I'm assuming a lot of it is just contrarians hating what's popular and Zig Forumscels seeing purple hair and seething until tears fall onto their keyboards.

Gonna be one of those games with huge opening week sales like TLOU2 or FF7R that completely flops afterwards due to word of mouth rendering it without any mileage

>there's more sidequests
doesn't really mean much if they're all Witcher Contract-tier

Shame how there isn't VR support. VR is cyberpunk-incarnate. This game is only Ina first person perspective. It just made sense.

Fucking retarded shill, this is objectively a trainwreck no matter how much you spin it. Also that "Waaah contrarian" bullshit has never been a thing, due to Zig Forums always shilling popular shit like New Vegas, Metal Gear Solid 3, Dark Souls, San Andreas, Deus Ex, Undertale, A Link to the Past & other games constantly

>CDPR is still one of the very few devs not shoehorning as much cancerous shit into their projects at all times.
I see you didn't see the dozens of e-celebs announcing they were in the game recently

>Fucking retarded shill
Stopped reading there, faggot.

>A Link to the Past
>"shilling" a 30 year old game

Cry more
>Doesn't count because it's old
Get fucked

Gee, I wonder why

Here's another (You), since I know that's all you have come here for since 2-16, electionfag. By the way, your lashing out isn't making you fit in here.

Cyberpunk 2077 VR Enhanced in late 2021 for $60, please look forward to it.

>doesn't really mean much if they're all Witcher Contract-tier
there are side quests and there are 75 "street stories" which are basically Witcher contracts in terms of narrative, they said they looked back at quests like Family Matters with the Bloody Baron from Witcher 3 when writing quest chains for Cyberpunk.

The weird part is that there WOULD be a lot of trans people in a cyberpunk future where you could modulate yourself with technology. But specifically wanting to give positive representation for them would be an issue because this future is supposed to look strange and unappealing, so the trans people would also look strange and unappealing and that would be reported as specifically representing them negatively.
