I've had people do the same shit in GTA Online

>whole progression is about getting more money to buy more toys to fuck with people in the sandbox
>when someone is moving a shipment they show up as a big icon on your map and you're told you earn money if you stop them from completing their shipment
>ruin their shipment because they were too slow to finish even with their huge head-start
>they complain in chat, announce their report and then try to encourage server to kick you
