M64

Pokke in Monster hunter

mario galaxy

Bloodborne

All of the Deus Ex games. Special mention to Prague

this. Rosalina has cute booba

I like Majula a lot

MM isn't the best but its pretty damn good.
Its insane how so few games don't just put the major levels in the cardinal directions. Or if they do they do some dumb restrictions that dont let you just straight line each direction.

Sonic Adventure

Not really. Though it's cool the mensis tombstone is all fucked up compared to the other ones

Are you really complaining that every game isn't the same?

Say what you will about the story, but with it being customizable and have a few hidden secrets felt more full than Disgaea 2

What's a hub? Like an in game lobby or something?

Imagine Disgaea 2 Complete with a customizable hub.

Peach's Castle in Mario 64 and stuff like it.

i want to live on her chest

Let me customize the hub music and I will talk to Bridget all the time

I really want to pee in princess peach's butt.

The Nexus is easily the best hub in a game

Majula was better.

Needing to go to it to warp between areas ruins it.

super mario galaxy 2!
it's fucking comfy and i get to talk to my lil niggas that join me ship.

I don't get why people don't like the hub in Mario Galaxy 2. Is so cool to have it expand with more and more characters as you explore the galaxy.

Fucking based man

All of Sonic Adventure's HUB stages were great. I loved running around in them.

Galaxy 2 really dropped the ball on it's hub.

Super Mario Galaxy, it's not as stupidly large as 64 or Sunshine's which are far too large for the amount of content.

I'd say Galaxy 2 but some are gonna try to stir shit up about how the world map precludes Starship Mario from being a true hub world.

I liked that but I hate that they failed to utilize it for the finale.

I really love how you get this little ragtag crew of Lumas, rabbits, birds, penguins, yoshis and armos, plus all the powerups and then they don't do jackshit in the final level.

A Hat In Time

Nominating Muppet Monster Adventure

The hub is actually just a level select but the hub theme is a fucking banger

It was nice that you got to pick up NPCs, and changing the color of space as you got to different worlds was great but there just wasn't anything to do in it. With previous hubs you had to move through them to get to different levels or find stuff.

The faceship also hurts by not having a strong identity or atmosphere. It doesn't have anything like the tropical heat of isle delphino, or the whimsy and mystery of the comet observatory.

Destiny. Both games have really nice player hubs.
