The multiplayer update is free. You still need to buy the game and ps+ to access it.

i doubt ill miss out on anything by skipping the multiplayer raids. the game is fun but the enemy variety makes it boring as hell.

Meh, I don't really use it for a lot of games. Subscribed for online bloodborne, will probably use it for this, but other than that I don't get a lot of use out of it.
The monthly games are alright but they're mostly not great.

Subscribe if there's a game you know that you're going to get a lot of online use out of, drop it after that.
